{Background - Hermione just asked Harry to talk privately after hearing of Voldemort's defeat.}
"So Hermione, what did you want to talk about?" Harry asked.
Hermione was for a moment speechless which to Harry was quite impressive as she usually had something to say even if it was just to berate him. She eventually looked down before talking.
"Harry... I love you, I think I have for a long time but only recently became fully aware of how much I truly do love you... What do yo-"
Hermione was interrupted as Harry, her best male friend and someone who she loved kissed her with a passion she had never experienced before. His lips pressed against hers and she responded. Harry having gotten the surprise upon her was able to push her against a wall and properly snog her. His hands holding her tight while her ran through his messy hair.
They didnt know how long they kissed for but as quickly as it started it ended. They both separated as they desperately tried to catch their breath.
"Hermione I love you too."
They later walked out to join the group to see if their transportation to Mars would work.
