Keifer awoke. He head throbbing. The clear memory of Jay going limp in his arms. The pain exploding through his head. Once his eyes were fulling open, adjusting to the dark of the room. He looked around. Obviously looking for Jay. He didn't care about anything. Not anout escape. Not about section e coming for help. Only Jay. He finally noticed her. A lump on the floor. Not far away from him. He would have got there in seconds. The only problem was thag he was tied to a pole that was clearly built into the ground. His back ached fron standing so long. He tried, and tried time and again to get free from the ropes thag bound him. But they were tied strategically so that theh could only be open once examined carefully and fuigured out. Eventually he gave up kn trying to untie them, however, he moved on to try and loosen them. But he soon realised that the harder he tugged, the tighter the rope got. Soon he realised that this wasn't about power. It was about strategy. He felt around the ropes. Feeling where each knot started and ended. Felt which strand looped into which hole. After about 7 minutes of feeling around, Keifer gave a few soft tugs and… he was free. His wrists burn where the rope had cut into his skin. But he didn't care. As soom as he was free, he was beside Jay in seconds. He pulled her into his arms. "Hey. Jay, wake up. Please" He begged. He tapped the cheeks gently. He kissed her. But nothing worked. He looked around the room. To find a way out. Anything. A door, a tunnel. Anything. But there was nothing. He wanted to go feel around fhe walls. To look for any secret doors. But he couldn't leave Jay. So he did the only thing thay seemed sensible. He picked her up. Bridal style. One arm under her knees, the other around her shoulders. He walked around the room. Feeling the walls with one hand, the other supporting Jay's weight. For the amoyshe eats, she was surprisingly really light. Keifer looked aroumd the room twice. But he had no luck. He came to one conclusion. Theh were trapped in a room and this toom could only be opened from tbe outside. He sat back down against the wall. Jay in his arms. Still unconscious. Her hand was cold in his. For the forst time in what seemed like forever. Mark Keifer Watson felt helpless. Just then. He realised. That the room might be locked but not sound proof. He could here voices outside. Talking, laughing. He heard two voices. Both very recognisable. Kaizer Watson and Adrian. Keifer's blood boiled. He never had a good feeling about Adrian. But he never knew that he would go this far by partnering with Keifer's moster father. The one who killed his own wife, his sons mother, the love of his life. Keifef swore to himslef be would never be like his father.
