Author's pov
Jay was sat in her chair at school, her eyes glued to the door. She was waiting, it was obvious. Her eyes never left the doorway she herself had walked through only 20 minutes ago.
Kiefer wasn't here yet. He had to go to Watson Enterprise because of his father pulling some strings from London, but Jay didn't know that. Kiefer hadn't told her because he knew exactly what would happen. She would go out of her way to help him, and in doing so she would get herself hurt, and Kiefer couldn't risk that. So Jay sat there in her chair. Both chairs beside her empty.
Yuri hadn't come to school ever since the "incident".
Section E knew about what he did, and they hadn't accepted him since. He tried to come to school the Monday after the trip, but apparently he was stopped at the gate.
That's all Jay knew, and that's all that Section E told her. Fear started to crawl up her spine as the first bell of the morning rang. Keifer still wasn't here, and Jay? She knew section e was hiding something from her, and? She had had enough. She waited till the bell for lunch rang, and when it did, what she had been keeping inside her for the whole morning spilled out in three words, "WHERE IS HE?" she shouted. The whole section flinched, even David, the one who was always calm flinched at the sound of Jay's anger.
"What are you talking about Jay? Where's who?" Ci asked, trying to look clueless, but Jay was smarter, she knew he was hiding and she knew exactly how to lure him out.
She reached into her bag and pulled out a stack of Ci-n's favourite chocolates and held them up in front of him. "Now, tell my why Keifer still isn't in school"
Ci-n gulped
"Tell me Ci, and this whole stack is yours" Jay said
"Ci don't listen to her, don't give in" a few of them shouted
"Remember, this whole stack, and i mean it, will be all yours to eat, anyone who tries to touch it except you will have serious consequences" Jay repeated.
Ci-n took a deep breath before whispering it into Jay's ear, "He is at his company, he has been missing meetings because of the trip and the "incident" ". Ci-n said.
He pulled away from Jay's ear and stared at the chocolates.
" Jay you promised" he added
Jay didn't think twice before handing him the chocolates, her mind wasn't thinking about them anymore. It was on Keifer, he was dealing with school, his company, taking care of his brothers, and now, he had another responsibility on his shoulders, to take care of Jay.
She felt the hot tears in her eyes threatening to fall, but she couldn't cry, not here, not in front of them.
She grabbed her bag and ran out, she walked to the old music room, the exact room where her and Keifer sat and shared their first meal, where everything started. She needed space and quiet, and the music room is where she found it.
A few miles away, Keifer got a call from David
~on call~
David: Keifer...she bribed Ci-n with chocolates, you know how he is, and you know her too.
Keifer: Where is she now?
David: We...don't know. She left after she gave Ci the chocolates.
Keifer: Check the whole school. I am on my way.
~call ended~
Keifer didn't wait another second. Jay was somewhere, in school, or outside. Nothing came before her.
He drove like a mad man, he drove as fast as he could, dodging every bit of the manila traffic.
When Keifer reached school he didn't even park the car properly before jumping out and sprinting towards section e.
He barged into the classroom, "WHERE IS SHE", his voice echoed in the almost empty classroom.
Everyone except Jay was there, but without her the classroom felt like it only hsd two people in it.
"Keif…she is in the music room, she won't let anyone in. We tried" David told him
Keifer nodded and made his way towards the music room.
He tried the door handle. It was locked. He knocked, "Jay…it's me, please…talk to me, I am sorry, I should have told you"
The door swung open, Jay stood in the doorway, her eyes red rimed.
"I'm sorry" she choked out
"What…why Jay you did nothing wrong" Keifer said stepping inside the room pulling her into his chest.
"What happened? Did someone say something? Tell me Jay"
"I…I never knew you were going through all that, I never realised…and instead of trying to understand…i pushed you away" Jay said, freash tears now falling uncontrollably.
"Shh…Jay it's ok. You didn't push me away…i did, I thought that would protect you but it only ended up hurting you more" Keifer said his hands tightening around her.
As Jay sat there, in Kiefer's arms, she realised, no matter what, Keifer would never let Jay blame herself for anything. And that alone showed how much she means to him.
The bell for the end of break rang, but neither of them moved. They sat there until the next bell rang and walked back to class.
They had a free period now.
The second they entered, everyone surrounded them.
"Jay…are you ok" the all asked in unison
Jay just nodded and walked to her desk. But Keifer was not having that.
He grabbed his bag and hers as well.
"Come on" he said to Jay, Jay didn't protest she just got up and walked out of the classroom.
Keifer gave a nod to the rest of section e and walked out after her.
Section e didn't stop them or ask what was going on. They just understood.

Kiefer took Jay to her island for the weekend to get her mind off of things and it helped.
Jay became her normal self again. She was laughing and teasing.
A small smile played at Keifer's lips as he watched her playing in the water, like she was 5 years old again.
Hi guyss this is not what I had in mind for the chapter, but as i kept writing, i found the rhythm and this just felt right. The next chapter is nowhere near the timeline of this so just a hint. But i hope you really like this and i had a dream about this book. I got so many ideas but I just don't know how to write it without making you guys bored. But please do stick around. Your support mean soo much to me.
Also did you see that amnse has been postponed. Like Viva is just not taking this seriously. Like the only readon they became famous was cuz of amnse and ashdres but it is just so unfair how they treat them like that. Like if i say that this reminds me of three words "i used you" like don't you think that is exactly what Viva did??
