Chapter 787 - Wuwuwu, You All Bully Me! I'm Going to Egypt to Pull Weeds! Damn It!

Chapter 787: Tatsumaki: Wuwuwu, You All Bully Me! I'm Going to Egypt to Pull Weeds! Damn It!

Tatsumaki gritted her teeth, straining to make out Fubuki's intermittent, breathy words. Her small hands balled into tight fists. She really wanted to hit someone right now. The sheer audacity of it all—neither of them had paused their rhythmic movements for even a single second while talking to her!

What drove her knuckles white, however, was the revelation behind it all. Fubuki was actually jealous of her? Her own little sister envied her power so much that she was willing to do this just to close the gap?

"Fubuki... what on earth have you..." Tatsumaki's entire petite frame trembled, a mix of disbelief and mounting fury swirling in her emerald eyes.

Before she could finish her sentence, Fubuki suddenly propped herself up against the mattress with her left hand. Her right hand raised, fingers curling inward with sudden, sharp intent.

Tatsumaki's breath hitched. Her eyes widened in absolute shock.

A massive, invisible wave of pressure crashed down, enveloping her entirely. It was heavy, suffocating, and undeniably familiar. This was Fubuki's psychokinesis.

"Fubuki! You actually dare to attack your own sister?!" Tatsumaki snapped, her temper flaring. "Now I'm really angry!"

Her emerald hair whipped wildly into the air, defying gravity as an intense green aura flared around her body. Furious, she unleashed her own psychokinesis, fully expecting to swat away her sister's energy and pin her down just like she always did.

But reality delivered a harsh, stinging slap to her pride.

The moment their energies clashed, Tatsumaki realized something was horribly wrong. Her overwhelming psychic power slammed into an invisible wall—and failed to break through. Fubuki's psychokinesis held firm, an immovable mountain against her storm.

'How is this possible?' Tatsumaki's mind reeled.

"Do you see... haah... Sister?" Fubuki panted, a triumphant, breathless smile curving her lips. "I'm even stronger than you now!"

Catching sight of Tatsumaki's utterly bewildered expression, Fubuki's heavily flushed cheeks darkened into a deeper shade of crimson. She had actually done it. She had finally made her invincible, arrogant older sister gasp in shock at her sheer strength. Swept up in a tidal wave of ecstatic euphoria, Fubuki completely abandoned her inhibitions, throwing herself into the moment with reckless abandon.

Tatsumaki slowly turned her head, her gaze locking onto Ren in absolute bewilderment. "You... you gave Fubuki this power?"

Ren didn't even miss a beat. He offered a calm, unapologetic nod. "That's right. After all, she gave herself to me."

The casual confirmation struck Tatsumaki like a physical bolt of lightning. Yet, strangely, the emotion flooding her chest wasn't anger. Her petite body began to shake violently, trembling even harder than Fubuki, who was currently a shuddering, weeping mess of pleasure on the bed.

A second later, the dam broke.

"Wuwah!!!" Tatsumaki burst into tears.

"Sis... Sister?"

Fubuki, whose eyes had been rolling back in pure bliss, instantly snapped back to reality at the piercing sound. She weakly lifted her exhausted head, blinking through the haze of pleasure. There, standing in the middle of the room, was Tatsumaki. The invincible Tornado of Terror had both hands clamped over her eyes, bawling her heart out like a lost toddler.

Fubuki stared in stunned silence. In her entire life, her older sister had only ever been an immovable pillar of strength—proud, arrogant, and fiercely assertive. This was the very first time she had ever witnessed Tatsumaki looking so incredibly fragile, wailing openly without a shred of dignity.

Even Ren paused his rhythmic assault, genuinely caught off guard. He hadn't expected the notoriously prickly esper to break down into a sobbing mess.

And the reason tumbling from her lips was absurdly childish.

"Wuwah... Why?!" Tatsumaki hiccuped, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Clearly... clearly Ren is my friend! I'm the one who brought him here! But... but why do you have to team up with Fubuki to bully me?! Wuwah!"

She wailed at the top of her lungs, stomping her foot in pure, unadulterated grievance. All of this emotional devastation over feeling left out and picked on.

Fubuki's mind spun, completely dazed by the surreal sight. Was this really the terrifying older sister she had spent her entire life envying and fearing? Seeing Tatsumaki cry over something so petty was infinitely more jarring than the time she had tearfully apologized to her.

"Fubuki, I think you need to go comfort your sister," Ren said smoothly. With a wet pop, he pulled back, finally giving the exhausted esper her freedom.

Her limbs felt like melted jelly, but Fubuki forced herself up. Dragging her trembling legs across the floor, she stumbled over to Tatsumaki's side.

"Wuwuwu..." Tatsumaki continued to sob, rubbing her eyes furiously.

Faced with this incredibly fragile version of her sister, Fubuki froze. She had absolutely no idea how to handle this. Pursing her lips, she went with her only instinct. She opened her arms and pulled Tatsumaki into a warm, tight embrace.

"I'm sorry, big sister," Fubuki whispered apologetically, gently stroking her green hair. "I shouldn't have done that."

The embrace worked its magic. Tatsumaki's loud wails gradually subsided into quiet, pathetic hiccups. Still, she buried her face in Fubuki's shoulder and choked out, "Fubuki... why do you hate me? Did I... did I do something wrong?"

She genuinely didn't understand. She had only ever tried to keep her safe. Why was she being treated this way?

Fubuki's expression dimmed, a wave of guilt washing over her. Looking at her sister's tear-stained face, she realized she no longer had the heart to voice the deep-seated resentment she had harbored for years.

"Ren-kun, are they going to start arguing again?" Vivi asked from the sidelines, her blue eyes filled with worry as she watched the two sisters.

"Leave it to me," Ren replied easily.

He strolled over to the embracing siblings. Looking down at them, he cut straight to the chase. "The issue between you two isn't some massive, unfixable tragedy. It's just a severe lack of communication."

He crouched down to meet Tatsumaki's teary gaze. "Tatsumaki, you want to protect Fubuki. So, you refuse to let her handle anything on her own. You step in and personally crush every obstacle in her path, genuinely believing that this is the best way to keep her safe. Right?"

Tatsumaki sniffled, wiping her eyes with the back of her hand before giving a slow nod. "Fubuki just needs to stay under my protection. She doesn't need to encounter anything dangerous. I can handle it all."

She clung stubbornly to her philosophy. In her mind, the world was a cruel, agonizing place, and only she needed to bear the burden of its pain.

"That mindset isn't inherently wrong, because it comes from a place of deep love and care for your younger sister," Ren said, his tone surprisingly gentle. He didn't condemn her intentions; it was the classic trap of an overprotective parent suffocating their child to keep them safe. "However, you need to realize that Fubuki is her own independent person. She has her own thoughts, her own ambitions, and her own pride. She wants to grow strong enough to stand on her own two feet, not remain a helpless fledgling forever trapped beneath your wings."

Ren reached out, gently caressing Fubuki's flushed cheek. "Fubuki, why don't you tell her exactly how you feel?"

Encouraged by his touch, Fubuki took a deep breath. She pulled back just enough to look earnestly into Tatsumaki's wide, emerald eyes.

"He's right, big sister," Fubuki said, her voice steadying. "I want to become stronger. I want to stand by your side and face this world's dangers with you. I don't want to spend the rest of my life cowering behind your back, wilting in your shadow." Her grip on Tatsumaki's shoulders tightened. "I want to be known as Fubuki, the hero! Not just Tatsumaki's weak little sister!"

The sheer determination burning in Fubuki's gaze and the unwavering resolve in her voice left Tatsumaki stunned. It felt entirely unfamiliar. She realized, with a sinking feeling in her chest, that they had never actually had an open, honest conversation like this. Every single time trouble arose, Tatsumaki had simply swooped in, violently eradicated the threat, and flown off with an arrogant scoff, never once stopping to ask how Fubuki felt about being treated like a helpless burden.

For the very first time, the truth pierced through Tatsumaki's stubborn shell. Fubuki wasn't the fragile, pathetic glass doll she had always imagined. She had her own battles, her own evolving mindset, and her own desperate desire to grow.

A long, heavy silence stretched across the room.

Finally, Tatsumaki let out a shaky breath. Her tightly clenched fists slowly relaxed, falling limply to her sides.

"I'm sorry, Fubuki," she whispered, a bitter, self-deprecating smile touching her lips. "Big sister never even considered your feelings... I was wrong."

"Big sister..." Fresh tears rapidly welled up in Fubuki's eyes.

Hearing those words—being genuinely acknowledged by the person she admired most—broke through her final emotional barrier. She threw her arms around Tatsumaki, hugging her fiercely.

"I was wrong too! I shouldn't have just sat there and unilaterally resented you all these years." She pulled back, a bright, confident smile breaking through her tears. "But now... now I finally have the strength to protect you. From now on, you can leave things to me!"

Fubuki's mind was already racing with visions of the future. She would officially climb the ranks, become an S-Class Hero, and finally fight shoulder-to-shoulder with her sister on the front lines.

But her grand fantasy was immediately interrupted when Tatsumaki suddenly pushed her away.

Under Fubuki's utterly astonished gaze, the green-haired esper planted her hands firmly on her hips and lifted her chin with her signature haughty pride.

"Absolutely not. That won't do at all. I am the older sister; therefore, I must be the one to protect you."

Fubuki blinked, raising a skeptical eyebrow. "Huh? But I'm literally stronger than you now."

It was an obvious fact. Tatsumaki opened her mouth to argue, found she couldn't refute it, and immediately puffed out her cheeks in a furious pout.

"Y-You... you cheated!" she stammered, glaring daggers at her sister.

"Heh. I gained this power through my own blood, sweat, and hard work," Fubuki chuckled shamelessly, completely lacking any self-awareness. She had just been put through absolute hell on that bed, after all. Not to mention, pulling weeds in Egypt for the Chat Group's missions was incredibly exhausting manual labor!

The fiercely proud Tatsumaki flat-out refused to accept a reality where she was weaker than her little sister.

She whipped her head around and leveled a lethal glare at Ren. Marching right up to him, she jabbed a slender finger directly at his nose.

"I want to become stronger too!!!"

Fubuki instantly froze, her jaw dropping in horror as she realized exactly what her sister was demanding.

Ren, however, merely tilted his head. A slow, predatory smile spread across his face. "Oh? Are you absolutely sure about that?"

Tatsumaki briefly glanced down at her own petite, delicate frame, mentally calculating the sheer physical toll she had just watched Fubuki endure. It was definitely going to be hard to bear. But her pride refused to let her back down. She puffed out her chest, putting on a brave front, and declared stubbornly, "Yes! I must be stronger than Fubuki!"

"Very well," Ren purred, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Then I shall grant your wish."

Without another word, Ren scooped the squeaking Tatsumaki up into his arms and carried her straight toward the plush sofa.

Fubuki was left kneeling on the floor, her hand outstretched as she let out a strangled, utterly beyond understanding sound of despair.
