So, I'll just get straight into it.
Thanks for giving my book a try, first and foremost. Although the beginning of the novel might feel like a slow, sloppy, common trope-like beginning, it might feel difficult to get through.
The quality and pacing and the plot direction itslef improves later on in the story, closer to volume 2.
I'm still new to writing, so if it feels off or there are times when things might not add up, please let me know. I'm open to feedback.
The story will feel more enjoyable later, though some of you might not make it to that part. Even so, I'll continue writing to bring out more chapters for you readers who truly enjoy it. I'm grateful for everything, and I would've never assumed I would get this opportunity to chat with you guys here.
This novel, as some of you might have already identified, is inspired by several different works. I try to add my unique aspect while doing so, to make sure you guys can sip a new flavour of tea.
By the way, the romance will be a slow and progressive one. Don't assume that 'oh, she's the female lead,' right away, since Cassien is a bastard and likes pretending to get close with certain females that might work in his benefit. He's not dense; I repeat, he is not a dense MC.
As you can tell, it's an extra-related novel. So I'm here to ask you guys, what's your favorite extra-themed novel? Mine personally is ORV, maybe it's just me, idk.
Even with all this, I thought I could offer something new and more expansive to this overused genre, even if it took years to develop. I'm proud to finally introduce my work, and I deeply hope you all can enjoy it.
I wish I could change the first couple of chapters, but it's too late now, so I'm just hoping you guys could bear through it. If not, it's understandable; I wouldn't even force myself to do such a thing. Especially when novels like [The Novel's Extra] exist out there to read.
Don't read this expecting it'll be similar to the other peak novels I've mentioned.
