"I failed to protect my kids?" I thought, and my eyes opened slowly. I could feel everyone's gaze on me. Liora was biting her fingers worriedly, and Bibi had that dark look in her eyes.
Doctor Elandra standing by the side, all eyes on me, and my beast-men surrounded me.
"What happened? Are they okay?" Azrael asked, and Doctor Elandra shook her head.
"She lost the cubs!" she said, making everyone fell totally silent.
I stared in total disbelief. My lips parted to say something, but nothing came out. I could only remember the hot blood. My eyes welled up with tears, and I placed my palms over my face, letting them fall.
My cries filled the room, and Elandra stood there, not saying a word. She moved closer, placed her hand on my tummy, and a white glowing mist moved onto my body.
"She will be okay. I took care of the miscarriage. She just needs some supplements now," she said to everyone before turning to me.
