A teasing smile spread across Zachary's face.
"You know," he said, "you might need a few more lessons."
She blinked up at him in confusion. "Lessons?"
"Breathing slowly and regularly without interrupting the kissing." He said.
Her eyes grew even wider before she said, "I was breathing!"
"Barely."
"I was doing perfectly fine."
"My wife..."
"What?"
"You looked like you were negotiating with your lungs."
She turned her gaze away from him, trying not to laugh. "I blame you."
"Oh? Somehow this is my fault?"
"Completely."
He chuckled softly, lightly touching her chin and guiding her gaze back to him so he could read her expression.
"I'll accept full responsibility," he said with a satisfied grin. "I'll even volunteer to help you practice."
She gave him an exaggerated look.
He leaned down once more, resting his forehead gently against hers while holding her gaze.
"Alright, my wife," Zachary said with a playful smile. "I think we need to do something about this dress."
