As we walked a bit into the forest, a decent-sized open space came into view. Tev stopped at the entrance of the vacant space and introduced me to the white horse he had brought along.
"This one is the most docile among all the horses in the mansion and also well equipped, so you should have no trouble riding it… my lady."
Indeed, as he said, the white horse seemed docile.
It gazed at me, blinking its large eyes, showing no signs of being wary, and even peacefully accepted Tev's touch.
However, I couldn't readily ride the white horse. I didn't realize until seeing it in person, but the horse was bigger than what I saw it in a picture or photo. Even though I knew it wouldn't attack me, I felt slightly apprehensive about just hopping on it.
Tev, who had been silently watching me, opened his mouth.
"Let me show you how it's done first."
Saying so, Tev effortlessly mounted the horse. His movements displayed no hint of hesitation or difficulty.
