In front of Kuro, a transparent holographic screen appeared.
Ding!
[Achievement Unlocked: King of Heroes]
[Condition Met: Eliminate Gilgamesh]
[Reward: Class Card Archer (Gilgamesh)]
Ding!
[Automatic storage enabled.]
[Reward has been transferred to Gate of Babylon.]
Kuro stared at the notification for several seconds.
His eyebrow lifted slightly.
"Achievement...?" he muttered quietly, his tone flat, as if recalling something long forgotten.
"It's been a long time since this feature last activated. I almost forgot this system even had achievements."
His gaze dropped to the reward details.
"…Class Card Archer Gilgamesh?"
His tone shifted slightly, now sounding more interested.
"Is this really what I think it is?"
Without wasting time, Kuro raised one hand. A small golden portal opened beside him, and from within it, a card slowly floated out.
The card was dark brown, with faint magical patterns across its surface.
In the center, the Archer symbol was clearly engraved.
Class Card Archer — Gilgamesh.
Kuro observed it for a few moments.
The surface of the card felt cold, yet it radiated an energy sensation that was very familiar—almost identical to the aura of Gate of Babylon.
Ding!
A new notification appeared in front of him.
[System detected full Authority of Gilgamesh.]
[Authority-compatible asset confirmed.]
[Does Host wish to absorb all data and authority?]
[Yes / No]
A faint smile appeared on Kuro's face.
"A rather unnecessary question."
Without hesitation, he pressed Yes.
Ding!
The moment the command was accepted, the card in his hand instantly cracked.
CRACK.
Golden light fractures spread across its surface before the card shattered into fragments of energy.
The particles floated briefly in the air, then flowed into Kuro's body through his palm.
Whoosh...
A warm yet heavy energy spread throughout his entire body.
Kuro closed his eyes.
The sensation was unique.
Not pain, but as if something that had long been empty inside him was finally being filled.
Instinctively, he immediately sensed a change in his Gate of Babylon.
Its internal space felt far more filled.
More complete. More stable.
The collection of weapons, artifacts, and treasures that previously did not exist now appeared within his perception.
Not as physical objects he could directly see, but as data, inventory, and authority that had now become part of his system.
Kuro slowly opened his eyes again.
His iris had returned to normal; Sharingan deactivated.
"…I see."
He slightly raised his hand, feeling the new connection with Gate of Babylon.
"So it really is true."
A faint smile formed.
"It's not just a replica or a copy."
Now I truly obtained the entire collection."
He glanced toward the headless body lying not far away.
"Gilgamesh would definitely hate this if he knew."
A brief pause.
"Ah… right."
His tone remained casual.
"He can't get angry anymore."
With a light gesture, he stored Gilgamesh's nearly forgotten corpse away.
Just then, a status window appeared.
Ding!

When the updated status screen appeared before him, Kuro's eyes widened slightly.
For the first time in a while, his expression showed genuine surprise.
"…Wait."
His eyes quickly scanned the changed numbers.
"So absorbing his full authority increases attribute values?"
His tone sounded more puzzled than excited.
He examined the status list for a few seconds.
Then his gaze stopped.
Directly on one line.
Charm: 1200
Silence.
Kuro's expression slowly turned blank.
Completely blank.
He stared at the number for quite a while, as if expecting the system to realize it had made a mistake on its own.
Of course, nothing changed.
Kuro raised his right hand, lightly massaging the bridge of his nose before letting out a long sigh.
"…Seriously?"
His tone sounded resigned.
"Even if I ignore the fact that my Charm is now far beyond Strength, Vitality, and even Agility…"
He paused, his gaze going distant as if contemplating the absurdity of life.
"How much longer do I have to keep covering my body just to suppress this ridiculous Charm effect?"
He glanced briefly at his own body.
"Right now I'm already wearing ten layers of illusion magic."
He raised one finger.
"Plus ten Mystic Code layers."
A brief pause.
"Though some of them are mainly focused on masking the Divine Corruption effect."
Another sigh, this one more tired.
Finally, Kuro lowered his hand and looked back at the system screen.
Then he shrugged lightly.
"Whatever."
His tone returned to normal.
"The rice has already become porridge."
A faint smile appeared on his face.
"Better focus on the positive side."
After saying that, Kuro slowly spread both arms.
A relaxed gesture, almost like someone returning from a tiring job and finally embracing the best part of the day.
Two golden ripples formed on his right and left sides. Gate of Babylon portals opened with their signature glow.
In the next moment, two figures emerged.
Tamamo landed first with a light movement. Her fluffy tails swayed instinctively as her feet touched the ground.
Not far from her, Kama also appeared with a calm step, her expression unchanged though her eyes immediately scanned the surroundings.
A ruined Fuyuki night.
Battle scars.
Residual magical energy still lingering in the air.
Kuro gave a small smile.
"Home sweet home," he said lightly, as if returning from an ordinary trip.
His gaze shifted between his two Servants.
"My beloved Servants."
Tamamo blinked a few times.
Her fox ears twitched before her expression shifted into a mix of confusion and slight disbelief.
"…My husband."
She looked around again.
Her gaze landed on the ruined church, cracked ground, and traces of magical energy that clearly hadn't long dissipated.
Then she looked back at Kuro.
Her smile thinned.
"May I assume," she said politely, though her tone carried subtle pressure, "that while we were peacefully stored inside Gate of Babylon… you just won a rather extraordinary small war?"
Her tails swayed slightly.
Her expression as the ideal wife was still there, but now accompanied by a very clear domestic protest aura.
On the other side, Kama crossed her arms.
Her gaze calmly swept the area.
"Hm."
Her tone was flat.
"Scent of ego, destruction, and big trouble."
She glanced at Kuro from the side.
"Judging from this level of damage, I assume you've done something extremely unhealthy for local stability."
Her eyes dropped to the blood on Kuro's clothes.
Her eyebrow lifted slightly.
"…And quite troublesome."
Kuro only chuckled softly, as if their reactions were exactly as expected.
Tamamo sighed before stepping closer and checking Kuro from head to toe.
"No fatal injuries?"
Her voice was now much softer.
Slightly worried.
Kuro raised both hands lightly.
"I'm fine."
Tamamo stared at him for a few seconds, then finally sighed in relief.
"Thank goodness…"
But immediately after, her fox ears perked up again.
"But still!" she said, slightly louder. "My husband really has a natural talent for leaving us behind and coming back after nearly turning an area into a disaster!"
Kama closed her eyes briefly and shook her head slightly.
"Truly exhausting."
Still, the corner of her lips lifted slightly.
Barely noticeable.
"Welcome back, Master-san."
Tamamo also smiled.
This time much warmer.
"Welcome home, my husband."
Kuro chuckled softly while looking into the distance.
From within Gate of Babylon, a pair of golden shoes appeared and equipped themselves onto his feet.
It was one of his Mystic Code collections—an artifact allowing flight and high-speed movement.
A faint gold and blue glow radiated from the soles.
"Kama," Kuro said casually without turning around. "Can you take Caster home?"
He casually pointed at Tamamo with his thumb.
"She's a new Servant I summoned while I was outside this world."
A brief pause.
"I still have a few things to handle, so you two go home first."
Tamamo blinked, then covered her mouth lightly with her sleeve, smiling faintly.
"Ara~ how busy."
Her tone was light, slightly teasing.
"Alright then. I'll go home with Kama-chan."
Kama let out a short sigh.
Her expression remained as calm as ever.
"The way you talk is really relaxed for someone who just killed Gilgamesh."
Her gaze shifted to Kuro.
"Are you sure you don't need help?"
Kuro only smiled faintly.
"If I needed help, I would've already asked."
His answer was short, but clear.
Kama looked at him for a few seconds, then finally shrugged.
"Alright."
Her tone remained calm.
"But don't die in a stupid way."
Tamamo immediately turned her head.
"Exactly! Don't make your number one ideal wife a widow too soon."
Kuro gave a small laugh at their combined comments.
"Don't worry."
He activated the Mystic Code on his feet.
The glow intensified slightly, and his body slowly lifted a few centimeters into the air.
"See you later."
WHOOSH!
The next moment, Kuro shot into the night sky like a streak of gold and blue, leaving behind a thin trail of light before disappearing from sight.
Tamamo looked up for a moment.
"…Every time I see him leave like that," she muttered softly, "I feel more and more like my husband is absurd."
Kama crossed her arms.
"Only noticing that now?"
Tamamo went silent for a moment.
Then nodded.
"Fair point."
The two of them turned and began walking away from the church area toward Kuro's home.
