"Believe whatever you want. It's the truth."
"Why did you go inside? Wouldn't people naturally steer clear of a place like this? You're Lagranche's representative. There should be a chain of command before you even consider exploring an unknown dungeon."
Eli stared at the ceiling.
"You're reading into it too much. It's not that complicated. When you find something interesting, the first instinct is to explore it."
Colton scoffed.
"Truly unprofessional. I didn't take you to be such a rat."
"You devil worshippers are worse than rats," Eli retorted. "What do you get out of it? Gratification?"
