Originally, Chinatsu wanted to create something like a "ninja world ultimate explosion technique" for fun, but after careful research and experimentation with chakra compression and transformation, she discovered that the concept she pursued was far more complex than ordinary large-scale ninjutsu. Moreover, by using Sage Mode to enhance perception and control, the power she could produce far exceeded ordinary Fire Release or even large-scale combination techniques.
What a pity! If the control requirements weren't so strict, Chinatsu would have experimented even more freely. She even had names in mind for different variations of the technique.
If released with her left hand, it would be called "Ninja Art: Little Sun," and if released with her right hand, "Ninja Art: Great Sun." Pretty artistic, right?
Chinatsu stood facing the violent gusts produced by her compressed detonation technique, a faint smile appearing on her face. She was admiring her work. Art wasn't necessarily about destruction but overwhelming power, perfectly controlled, could also be called art.
But that smile, from the perspective of the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, was anything but reassuring.
His aged heart tightened.
The rhythmic pounding in his chest felt heavier than the beating of war drums.
Hiruzen swallowed slightly, his sharp eyes never leaving Chinatsu. What concerned him wasn't the technique itself but what it represented.
A shinobi who could independently create such a technique.
A shinobi from the Uchiha clan.
If such power ever turned against Konoha…
Hiruzen stood still, gripping the adamantine staff transformed from Enma. He did not move.
Chinatsu, however, had already lost interest in the dissipating smoke cloud. She knew very well that someone like Orochimaru would not die so easily. At most, she had forced him to abandon part of his body or retreat in a severely injured state.
Being able to interrupt his plan and make him suffer that was already enough.
After all, she wasn't going around trying to destroy everything.
Chinatsu clapped her hands lightly, satisfied, and turned around to look for Naruto and Sasuke. However, the moment she turned, she saw Hiruzen standing there like a statue.
"Oh dear… looks like you saw everything," Chinatsu said with a light chuckle as she walked toward him and casually patted his shoulder.
Hiruzen lowered his head slightly, falling silent for a moment before speaking in a calm but heavy voice:
"May I ask… what kind of ninjutsu that was?"
"I've studied countless techniques, yet I've never seen anything like it. And you are clearly not a jinchūriki…"
Chinatsu smiled slightly.
"As expected of the 'Professor'… so curious about ninjutsu."
She tilted her head slightly.
"Well, I call it… a high-density chakra compression technique. You can think of it as a fusion of Fire Release, shape transformation, and Sage Mode amplification."
She paused, then added playfully:
"The ultimate technique capable of bringing… overwhelming deterrence."
"…Deterrence…"
Hiruzen slowly raised his head again, looking toward the devastated area in the distance.
He understood immediately.
This wasn't just power.
It was something that could shift balance.
The second stage of the Chunin Exams the Forest of Death could not proceed normally that day. Due to the large-scale disturbance caused by Orochimaru's infiltration and the resulting battle, the proctors temporarily halted the exam and began reorganizing the candidates.
However, instead of canceling the exams entirely, Konoha chose to tighten security and continue the process, just as it did in the original events after Orochimaru's attack.
Even so, the impact of the incident spread quickly.
Shinobi from other villages such as Gaara of Sunagakure had already sensed the abnormal chakra fluctuations during the earlier disturbance. Reports began to circulate quietly among the visiting teams.
Konoha… was hiding something.
Not a "weapon" in the literal sense but a shinobi whose existence alone could shift the battlefield.
The higher-ups of various villages would undoubtedly take note of this.
Konoha's position, already strong among the Five Great Nations, would become even more difficult to challenge openly.
But inside the Hokage office
Hiruzen Sarutobi sat behind his desk, rubbing his temples.
Standing before him were two elders: Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane.
"Where's Danzo?" Hiruzen asked.
The two exchanged a glance.
"We haven't seen Danzo Shimura for several days."
Hiruzen's brows furrowed slightly.
Danzo's absence at a time like this… was far from reassuring.
Given Danzo's history of acting independently especially in matters involving the Uchiha it was entirely possible he was already making his own moves behind the scenes.
Hiruzen exhaled slowly.
He didn't have time to deal with that now.
"Sarutobi," Koharu began, "you called us here about the Uchiha matter again?"
"It has already been settled. There's no need to reopen it."
Homura nodded in agreement.
Hiruzen fell silent for a moment.
Then, quietly
"This is no longer about the past."
His tone changed.
It was no longer that of a negotiator.
It was that of the Hokage.
The next day, a large number of sealed boxes were delivered to the Uchiha compound.
Inside were items that had been confiscated after the clan's downfall ninjutsu scrolls, records, property deeds, weapons, and stored funds.
Compared to everything else, the money itself was the least significant.
Chinatsu had already discovered a considerable amount of wealth in her family estate earlier.
What truly mattered…
Were the techniques.
Naruto and Sasuke, still half-asleep, were dragged out by Chinatsu to help carry the boxes inside.
Meanwhile, Chinatsu stood quietly, holding a scroll in her hand.
A scroll personally recorded by Tobirama Senju.
It contained numerous advanced techniques including several classified jutsu and research notes.
This alone was enough to change the future of a shinobi.
Chinatsu's lips curved slightly.
She wasn't surprised.
After all, the day before, she had already "overheard" everything.
Using Sage Mode perception, she had sat quietly at a distance snacking casually while listening to the heated argument between Hiruzen and the elders regarding how to handle her existence.
In the end
This was the result.
Compensation?
Appeasement?
Or investment?
It didn't matter.
Chinatsu rolled up the scroll slowly.
As long as it benefited her
Everything else was secondary.
