/POP Zuta/
Old memories came to Zuta while she was living again in her past life with the bad memories having a name, Alliter. Her whole body trembled with fear, a cool feeling occurring across all of her spine.
In an unknown place, there was a lot of destruction of deformed constructions by unknown things. There was a girl lying on the ground, having a hard way to breathe heavily. But she didn't give up, she struggled to stand on her broken leg while helping herself to stand up with her weapon. It had been broken in this endless battle for living and survival.
The atmosphere felt heavy in some way but Zuta had a mission, even if her life would come to an end, she would never give up dealing with these hard things in her life.
The moonlight had become dark mixed with red in an uncanny feeling to this world right now, having a lot of dead bodies everywhere in this world and having a lot of wounded monsters on the ground. The stench emanated from the decomposing corpses. The air of the world had been unbreathable for humanity. This had really come to the ending of this world with no hope for humanity.
The soul of the midnight was so silent like the world itself by fearing the Goddess evil of this world. Even though the world had become completely collapsing and suffering from death, there was a girl who really didn't care about anything, even with her own race.
In front of her was the evil girl, who was the villain of this world, Alliter. The girl she had hated the most, because that woman had killed a lot of innocent people just for her own pleasure to make other people feel hurt. Alliter with the deep black hair, red eyes, looked like a true demon wearing a delicate uniform dress. On her back, she had a big scythe with a complex design, having some kind of fire burning from it in a certain way; the aura of her made Zuta feel so much overwhelmed.
With a determined face, Zuta looked at Alliter with a disgusted face to overcome her feeling of fear. But somehow, her face was still down in a certain way.
[ What an evil, I will never forgive you, even if I die I will try hard to make sure you will die with me, to end your sins. You're the reason I keep fighting to this day, ...]
On the other hand, Alliter with an emotionless look stared at her like nothing really mattered to her. Zuta felt annoyed by the way Alliter looked at her. Like something deep inside her felt hurt. This was not a romantic feeling but something beyond understanding.
[ What is wrong with me? Keep moving myself, I need to end this demon. ]
Zuta clung to her heart while her whole body trembled with fear of her own death. For the first time, she was so scared of death like that, just Alliter's presence made her feel weak immediately.
[ I won't give up because of this stupid feeling of myself. Even at the ending of the world, I will never give up on myself. ]
Zuta took a deep breath, trying to move toward Alliter with heavy and struggling moves. Before she could even come closer to Alliter, her whole body collapsed onto the ground again in a painful way. Zuta cried out when she realized how hopeless she was right now, with the pain of her deep wounds after a long time of fighting, she had been so tired of these days of existence.
[ Why do I feel so weak before this demon? How can I save the world? The promises I had made to all of my friends, my comrades... I'm sorry, you must hate me in the afterlife, right? ]
Zuta shook her head, carried away from her old memories, saying in a fearful voice, "This is too much for me now…" She breathed heavily while living back in these nightmare memories.
Her face looked dark and scared. She couldn't believe in herself being able to talk to Alliter so normally like nothing had happened to them in the previous life. Zuta had become stronger than her thoughts. Her mind was still unclear about anything, just having a cool feeling attacking her whole soul, not her physical body.
[ Maybe this time will be different, right? If I continue to try harder, pushing myself more, more evil, more crazy, maybe I will succeed, right? But still, I'm not sure what I'm doing now, even with my limited power, I will surely keep continuing on this weird journey like a real mission fate had forced me into when the first time I was born. ]
Then she slowly walked back into her home. The weird part was that she also lived alone. There was no one else because she didn't have parents; they had died while she was still so young. And then, naturally, she had been living with her relatives in her childhood, but after that, even with her best friend Gooly, she made up her mind and came to watch Alice, while keeping learning about the demon to find a way, to answer her question.
[ What is the best way to save this world? Why don't I even know anything? Alliter is the main problem, but very surely there are still a lot of problems in this world too. So complex, I am not the type with a big brain to understand the stupid politics in this world. ]
And then, with a snap, her house changed dramatically. Inside, her house looked like a detective's room.
[ With my knowledge about this world, it doesn't have any problem for me to earn such a lot of money like that. ]
Her hand trembled as she looked at the wooden board where a timeline about Alice was displayed. In her old lifetime, it had really become an apocalyptic world for existing humanity.
[ Calm down, myself. That time has passed, she is not evil yet, still an innocent girl, but I need to be careful, don't be fooled by her look. Maybe this time she hasn't awakened her power yet, so I will end her life before she gets any stronger. ]
Zuta shook her head.

Her heart felt weird about this in some way, her face blushed somehow, breaking down her cool face immediately. Zuta looked at the mirror in terror at her shyness right now, "What is wrong with me? Did I have feelings for the demon? Are you kidding me? Ahrrrrrrrrrr!"
She became angry at herself because of these stupid unknown things.
[ I'm not the type to have yuri feelings like some stupid novels, arrrrr. ]
Zuta was still haunting herself from the bad, the tormenting memories kept replaying when she met Alliter again in this lifetime, while struggling, holding her head in a painful way.
[ Why can't I stop these stupid feelings... ]
With a calm face, she looked at the sky through the window of her house, "Maybe this is related to this false sky, right? Did Alice really relate to myself in somehow? My mystery of the world, the reason I exist, the fate that had forced me to come to this weird way... this timeline is more special than I thought."
Her eyes cleared in a certain way while looking at the sky to remind herself.
Alliter with her face emotionless looked at Zuta, her head tilted to the other side while her eyes glowed in a certain weird way. Maybe she would have some curiosity about this.
Zuta struggled to utter in a deep, strong voice echoing across the whole place, "I'm not your entertainment, you demon. I will KILL YOU!"
Alliter brought a big evil smile, her darkness aura becoming more dense, and then her hand with a super unknown power tightened; she held Zuta's neck from afar, while Zuta flew into the air, struggling to breathe.
Zuta, breathing heavily, came back to her present while her hands struggled to support herself to breathe in some way...
Her face looked confused as she remembered her conversation with Alice. Like she had been being illusioned by her enemy. Zuta had really become obsessed with Alice now.
Zuta, trying to calm down herself while moving around to look at the blackboard, said in an analyzing voice, "She is different from the Alice I know… but more dangerous in some way? Her love? This is weird. I've never heard Alice could fall in love. She is supposed to be emotionless and evil."
In the previous timeline, Alliter was still an unknown mystery—her power, her aim, and everything. She was the mystery, hard to know what the true meaning of her evil actions was. Zuta had been so struggling to try to understand Alice.
Zuta spoke again while using a special pen to write something on it, and then a wavy red line moved toward Alice to show a connection with it... with the unknown boy, who must have never existed or had died in that nightmare.
With a curious voice, her eyes kept locked on that unknown character, "I want to know who that person is… the one who can change her. He even saved me, too. This doesn't seem right in this timeline; is he the same person who has the same ability as me?"
Zuta shook her head, "NO, there is no one in this world who can have the same ability as me, I know. He is definitely an unknown new thing the GOD has brought to me to change the hard truth of this world, right?"
Zuta blinked her eyes, "What makes that person so special?"
[ If I get within his help, maybe I can change the tragic fate… but if not, I'll just end her life… and even his, too. But killing Alice is not easy. That girl is not a normal human from her appearance. There are still many mysteries I don't even understand. But I know how powerful and dangerous she is… about my power? I am still so weak, my body needs to continue to train to acquaint with the heaviness of the laws of the universe. ]
Zuta used her hand to point at a timeline on the wooden board. That timeline showed Alice in high school.
Zuta: "I don't have any information about it, but I'm sure there is something that must happen to the innocent Alice now. Maybe I need to stop it to change her, right? Becoming her friend is not a bad idea."
[ But what about my factor? This is not the right time to show up, I need more time. When the right time comes, I will come back, gathering more stronger people to save this world. ]
She needed more information; with a snap, a weird book appeared on her palm while she moved to her chair to take a relaxation for herself.
Zuta opened her secret book; it contained a lot of information she had in the past. For some reason, she really struggled to remember, but luckily, she had been saving the information in this book. She opened the book; it showed a lot of messy, dirty words, not to be clear. There was no one in this world who could read this book except only her. And then a big red color appeared to show a deep importance.
In that timeline, Alice was depressed, disconnected, and eventually fell into a hidden criminal organization. That group aimed to destroy this cursed world and create a better one. That group appeared when Alice was nearly finishing high school.
Zuta with a firm face, her hand gripping more tightly, "So this means I still have time to change it… to stop her from falling into darkness, to stop her from meeting that organization again."
Zuta smiled. "Maybe I can change that tragic fate."
[ But can I use her power for the sake of humanity? Should I trust her? Maybe I am so stupid to think in this way, haha. ]
Then Zuta looked at another timeline where everything turned into chaos and a sea of blood covered the world, like an apocalypse. Zuta's body shivered as she remembered her last conversation with that monster. She held her treasure book in a strong way.
Zuta struggled to say her last words before coming to the embrace of death, "Why are you destroying everything, Demon?"
Why Zuta was in the anti-Alliter organization—Alliter had destroyed everything the organization built in that apocalyptic world. But originally she had come too late to attend to that factor; in her previous life, she was so unsure what was the best factor to join, because everyone just had their own selfish desires, not for saving the world.
Zuta was the last survivor of the organization when Alliter found her. Alliter was Alice's new name given by the organization. Alliter was just like a normal herself, very calm, very rare to speak to someone, like that demon had been being a non-speaker in some way.
Alliter had a cold voice, an emotionless face, red eyes, and black hair. She wore a black uniform with complex details, making her look extremely striking even with a neutral expression. Behind her was her weapon, a large black scythe moving with its own life; it had some kind of intelligence. She slowly commanded it through her mind to direct it toward Zuta.
Zuta could feel the whole time had been being so slow, even though her death would come to her very fast. The black scythe reflected on her, terrified by the fear of the death realm, but she could hear clearly a deep, deathful voice: "Because I don't feel any love in this world."
