By now, Yuji's domain was being used very well. Fully expanded, it looked like a massive pitch-black sphere enveloping everyone.
At the bottom of the domain's interior was a pool of crimson blood, and surrounding the pool were ten statues of various shapes. Upon closer inspection, they were full-body statues of Yuji and all the Death Paintings.
Overall, Yuji's domain looked more like an oversized hot spring.
Choso's figure emerged from the blood pool, raising his hand to fire a Supernova.
Kenjaku, however, did not choose to use Domain Expansion to counter Yuji. He knew that while his domain could crush Yuji's, Megumi could also expand his domain. Having returned to his own body, Kenjaku could not maintain his domain's integrity if he had to crush two people's domains in succession.
Once he fell into Cursed Technique Burnout, the still-peaking Noritoshi and Suguru would be a huge problem.
Therefore, he could only temporarily use a Simple Domain to counter Yuji's domain. His foolproof plan was to first eliminate either Yuji or Megumi before expanding his own domain.
Without the Guaranteed Hit effect, Choso's Supernova was easily dodged by Kenjaku, who simultaneously raised his hand to counterattack using Blood Manipulation.
Blood Manipulation: Ten Thousand Arrows!
A massive number of arrows made of blood rained down upon the four, remaining a very powerful attack even after part of its strength was neutralized by the domain.
Chimera: Totality!
Megumi summoned Rabbit Escape and used it as a medium to load the power of the other eight completely destroyed shikigami onto it, fusing them into a final shikigami capable of rivaling Mahoraga.
Thump!
A shikigami over three meters tall crashed into the blood pool, kicking up a massive spray.
Looking closely, its torso was close to that of a gorilla, it had the arms of Tiger Funeral, the claws of Divine Dogs, the bulging eyes of Toad and the long trunk of Max Elephant on its face.
Atop its head were the massive antlers of Round Deer, and on the sides of its head, it grew a pair of ox horns.
On its back, two pairs of Nue's giant wings were wrapped in bursts of lightning. Its legs were muscular and strong.
Its entire body was covered in thick fur that radiated a powerful positive energy, demonstrating its formidable defense against ordinary Cursed Techniques.
"Pshhh—"
The Chimera suddenly sprayed a huge torrent of water from its long trunk. The high-speed water was even infused with the Piercing Ox's echnique and positive energy, instantly scattering the incoming blood arrows.
The water's power remained strong, rushing straight towards Kenjaku ahead.
Antigravity System: Rise!
The gravity of the water flow was nullified by Kenjaku, causing its attack direction to twist straight upwards.
However, the Chimera simply gave a slight flap of its wings, and powerful lightning instantly boomed from them, striking Kenjaku's chest and sending him flying back to crash against the shell of Yuji's domain.
Yuji, Choso, and Noritoshi all activated Blood Manipulation at the same time.
Piercing Blood!
Three droplets of blood shot toward Kenjaku's head one after another like high-speed bullets, intending to blow his head clean off.
Blood Manipulation: Crimson Shield!
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Noritoshi's Piercing Blood was blocked by Kenjaku's blood shield, while Yuji's and Choso's Piercing Blood pierced through both the shield and Kenjaku's body.
However, Kenjaku quickly recovered using Reverse Cursed Technique.

Kenjaku already felt the potent toxins from the blood of Choso and Yuji seeping into his body through his wounds. Therefore, he had to constantly activate Reverse Cursed Technique to slowly neutralize the toxins while maintaining his Simple Domain.
Otherwise, if Yuji were to activate Rot Technique after several accumulations, it would be a massive problem.
Before he could finish his tactical assessment, the muscular legs of the Chimera suddenly kicked off, reaching Kenjaku's face in an instant as a paw, wrapped in fierce winds, swiped violently at him.
Blood Manipulation: Slicing Exorcism!
Kenjaku quickly threw out two blood discs to slash at the Chimera's paw, but the positive Energy covering it's fur rapidly neutralized the Cursed Energy within the Slicing Exorcism. By the time it struck, its power was almost negligible.

Kenjaku was swiped away by the Chimera's paw, and then it spat two basketball-sized water spheres, imbued with the Piercing Ox's technique, toward the direction Kenjaku had been sent flying.
Boom! Boom!
In truth, if Megumi could withstand Kenjaku's domain, the Chimera alone would be enough to completely defeat Kenjaku. It's power was simply too immense.
If Kenjaku were a Cursed Spirit of the same level, he would likely have been exorcised by the Chimera's powerful positive Energy by now. Unfortunately, Kenjaku is a human, so positive Energy has little effect on him.

Although Kenjaku's plan was ideal—wanting to eliminate one of the two sorcerers capable of expanding a domain—now... he could only gamble with a Binding Vow.
Kenjaku shrank the diameter of his Open Domain to be exactly one meter larger than Yuji's domain. Through this Binding Vow, he gained absolute Barrier strength and reduced Cursed Energy consumption.
