Even though warewolves were way weaker in their human forms they could still be considered above average in their human forms and that was only applicable to the pawn class.
For the guards, they could already be considered as superhumans even without transforming. For an Alpha like Yuki even though he was still young none of the humans could be considered his match unless they were superhumans.
'Those two aren't the average superhumans like those who captured me the other day' Yuki thought while remembering how Draven and Silas effortlessly captured him the day before.
'Doesn't change much anyways, I'll still win once I transform.'
Yuki pulled the man who was struggling to stand up while taking in deep breaths, the impact from a single clash hit him so hard he could feel his bones cracking.
Yuki stretched his left hand towards him with an expressionless look on his face while raising his right arm and clenching his fist.
"Wait hold on!" Dave cried out in fear when he saw Yuki make another move but Yuki didn't care and grabbed his face then gave him a punch right in the stomach making Dave grunt in pain.
'He's still conscious' Yuki thought with raised eyebrows then raised him right arm and clenched it again delivering another blow to his stomach making Dave's eyes widen then pass out cold on the floor.
Everything right from when the stage crashed to when Dave passed out was so fast the crowd couldn't react, they only saw Dave about to maul Yuki down then the stage crashed with Dave on the ground.
"What just happened??"
"I think he won"
"He won? Dave couldn't last a second against him?"
"What is that kid made of?"
The coordinator was initially shocked and couldn't react but after the spectators burst into chatter he quickly called the meds over to wheel Dave away from the stage.
"What's your name please?" He asked with a smile on his face, he already predicted Yuki's loss and didn't bother to ask for his name.
"Yuki"
"And there we have the winner of the duel Yuki!!!"
The crowd burst into cheers shouting Yuki's name while some who placed bets on Dave had ugly expressions on their face. Some passed out cold on the spot after betting all their life savings on Dave believing Yuki had no chance to win.
The gambler had a wide grin on his face while watching the event unfold "I thought I'd go bankrupt after this match but it turns out it was a fortune in disguise! If I didn't have the courage to continue I wouldn't get this massive haul."
The coordinator turned towards the crowd with the megaphone in his hand "Is there anyone else willing to challenge?"
The crowd suddenly fell silent, they didn't know what exactly happened earlier but they knew Dave was defeated instantly and even if he actually cheated they didn't want to be the next person to lose miserably on stage. Everywhere was silent for a while before a man walked up the stage.
"I challenge him"
The crowd burst into chatter as soon as a new challenger appeared.
"Is he really going to challenge him?"
"He could've used some tricks earlier, might not be able to use it again." One of them said while watching the ring.
The coordinator already ordered the meds nearby to remake the stage and it was already back in shape when the new challenger came out.
"Alright then, the challenge will begin in 3! 2! 1!!" The man called out then stepped down from the stage.
The moment the coordinator stepped down from the stage Yuki clenched his fists and stepped forward throwing a jab at him and knocking him out of the stage into the crowd in an instant, falling on the ground with eyes rolled back.
The crowd fell into silence, this time everyone could clearly see the challenger get knocked out in an instant.
"Is there anyone else willing to challenge?" The crowd were woken up by the voice of the coordinator.
"If there is no one else then I will award Yuki as the winner of today's challenge!"
"Is there even anyone here who would face that guy?"
"He just knocked out that huge fella with a single punch, I definitely don't want to feel that punch on me"
"Since no one is willing to challenge, today's challenge will end in 5!"
"4!"
"3!"
"2!"
"1!'
"Today's challenge will end here, those interested in tomorrow's challenge should be here by 9:00am"
Yuki walked up to the coordinator and stared at him without a single word, the coordinator understanding the meaning behind his stare pulled out a bundle of cash and handed it to Yuki with a slight smile on his face.
"You look new"
"I just came to Stormguard city a few days ago." Yuki replied while keeping the bundle of cash in his pocket without even counting it.
"Oh that's pretty nice, I hope you're enjoying your stay here."
"It's pretty nice here"
"Good to have you around Mr Yuki" he said with an hand outstretched.
Yuki stared at the outstretched hand for a few seconds then took it with a smile. "Sure, nice having you around."
Soon after Yuki left, the crowd dispersed and the stage was recalled.
"A superhuman?" A middle aged man asked while walking up to the coordinator.
"Apparently, it seems so, I didn't expect one to show up here." The coordinator replied.
"This seems interesting but not unexpected, the heirs of the families are gathered at Stormguard university, they aren't that uncommon around here." He replied then turned around to leave when he suddenly asked.
"What was his name?"
"Yuki"
"Yuki?"
"Looks like a teenager with silver hair?"
"Yes"
He raised his phone and dialed a number, after a few beeps a voice came across. "Adrian, long time no see."
"I found traces of the wanted man on your posters."
"Which one of them?"
"The one with 5 million bucks bounty, the lost Alpha"
"You found him? Where?"
"Stormguard city, looks like he's not planning on leaving anytime soon."
"Keep an eye on him, I'll be over there soon, don't let him get away or you're not getting the bounty."
Adrian dropped the call and walked towards a white sedan with a smile on his face.
"Who would think I'll meet such a gem out here in the wild."
