Rodrigo frowned, his body growing still and alert. He eyed the servant girl - her face was sheet-white, and there were scratches on her cheek. Her dress was torn at the ends, as though they had been clawed by something.
″What do you mean, missing?″ he asked in a low tone.
She panted, pointing her trembling hands towards the forest.
Rodrigo's stomach dropped before she even spoke.
"The Luna," Moreen choked out. "In the forest—there were wolves—she's gone—"
Rodrigo didn't think. Every second counted.
"Seven!"
Seven was in front of him in an instant. When he saw the trembling girl, he glanced at Rodrigo with worry.
"The Luna's missing. Get everyone to the forest now!"
Without wasting an extra second, Rodrigo made for the forest. Even if he didn't have a wolf's speed in his human form, he was still faster than most. Since they shared a carriage, Rodrigo was familiar with his new wife's scent, picking it up easily.
She was close.
