Struck by the enormous arrow, the Aberrant Beast shrieked before collapsing to the ground.
After its body twitched a few times, it went completely still.
Sierra Sullivan didn't even spare the Aberrant Beast a glance, immediately running toward the person trapped in the sand.
She used her Superpower to disperse the surrounding sand, easily pulling the person out.
"Are you okay?" Sierra Sullivan asked.
The person didn't respond. They had probably passed out from the pain.
Sierra Sullivan looked at the people who had rushed over. "Get him back to the car, now. Bandage his wounds as best you can. We'll deal with everything else when we get back."
The two acknowledged her and started carrying the injured person toward the nearest vehicle.
One of them knocked on the car door.
But the door didn't open.
Sierra Sullivan hadn't gone far. She stayed to keep watch over their surroundings, guarding against another sneak attack from the Aberrant Beasts.
