SNAP!
Shannon Draper snapped the file in her hands shut. Her eyes crinkled with a smile as she looked at the two of them. "You're both expected to be here for work as usual next week! Don't you two dare start slacking just because you both got to stay!"
Holly Wyatt nodded repeatedly.
She had actually thought she wouldn't get to stay. After all, everyone had seen how hard Philip Powell worked—he was the type to work himself to death. She had assumed she'd be the one getting cut, but to her surprise, they both made it.
An excited Philip Powell zipped over to Holly Wyatt's side and gave her arm a subtle nudge. "Hey! Want to go out for dinner tonight? To celebrate?"
Holly Wyatt paused for a moment.
'Celebrate?'
The first thing that flashed through her mind was Silas Thornton's emotionless poker face, followed by the tip of his tail curled into a little heart.
She shook her head gently. "No, I can't. I have plans tonight."
