The Serenity Pavilion's breakfast service was scheduled to open at 6:30 AM. But shortly before seven, as reporters from major media outlets swarmed the entrance, Morton arrived and had the doors shut, suspending business.
The kitchen staff and the morning shift servers stared at the reporters gathered outside the glass windows, completely baffled. Some of them only found out what was happening after checking the trending topics online: their boss had been outed as gay.
"Damn, these people are just making things up. The boss clearly had Stella Lockwood stay over last night. How could he be gay?"
