The flight to Ahmedabad was supposed to be comfortable.

The second everyone sat down—
they were gone.

The Sleeping Beauties
JJ was still wrapped in her duck blanket.

Keifer had somehow managed to buckle both of them in.

The moment the plane took off—
JJ leaned against him.

Gone.
---
Fast asleep.

Halfway through the flight she grabbed his sleeve.

Then his arm.
---
Then somehow ended up holding his hand while sleeping.

Keifer looked down.
Smiled.

And stayed completely still for the next three hours.

Because moving would wake her.
---
Absolutely unacceptable.

Future husband duties.
---
Aries & Ella
Ella fell asleep on Aries' shoulder.

Which immediately created a problem.
---
Because now Aries couldn't move.
---
At all.
---
For three hours.
---
His arm went numb.
---
His neck hurt.
---
His shoulder hurt.
---
His soul hurt.
---
But did he move?
---
No.
---
Absolutely not.
---
Ella looked comfortable.
---
That was all that mattered.
---
Percy & Honey
Honey was pretending to sleep.

Percy was actually asleep.
---
Very different situation.
---
Because Percy snored.
---
Loudly.
---
Several passengers looked over.
---
Honey wanted to disappear.
---
"Percy."
---
No response.
---
"Percy."
---
Still nothing.
---
"Percy."
---
Nothing.
---
Honey finally pinched him.
---
Percy woke up dramatically.
---
"WE'RE CRASHING?"

The entire row stared.

Honey:
"...go back to sleep."

Calix & Mica
These two somehow shared one blanket.

Nobody knew how.
---
Nobody wanted to ask.
---
They looked peaceful.

Unlike everyone else.

Edrix & Freya
Freya had fallen asleep while complaining.

Literally.

Mid-sentence.

"...and my beauty sleep schedule is still ruined and—"

Gone.

Edrix quietly put his hoodie over her.

Then returned to reading.

Like it was normal.

Cin & Rakhi
Cin tried revising.

For exactly six minutes.

Then fell asleep.

Face-first into his notes.

Rakhi took a picture immediately.

Evidence.

Important evidence.

The Adult Section
Meanwhile—
the older group.

Care had been asleep since takeoff.

Head resting against Cole's shoulder.

Not once.

Not accidentally.

The entire flight.

Cole didn't complain.

Didn't move.

Didn't say anything.
---
Just sat there.

Reading.

Occasionally glancing down.

Very suspicious behavior.

Alex woke up halfway through the flight.

Looked beside him.

Found Lyra asleep.

Using his shoulder.

Again.

Alex sighed.

Then adjusted the small blanket over her.

And pretended nobody saw.

Unfortunately—
Rhys saw everything.

Again.

Ahmedabad Arrival
The moment the plane landed—
everyone woke up.

And immediately regretted existing.
---
"Already?"
---
"Too soon."
---
"I was having a good dream."
---
"I wasn't."
---
"Nobody asked."
---
The chaos had returned.

The Drive
Then came the convoy of cars.

And somehow—
people started sleeping again.

Car One
Cole driving.
Care sleeping.
---
Again.
---
At this point everyone suspected Care had entered hibernation.

Car Two
Alex driving.
Lyra sleeping.
---
Again.
---
Alex was basically a chauffeur at this point.
---
Car Three
Keifer driving.
JJ sleeping.

Again.
---
JJ hadn't even fully woken up.
---
At one point she mumbled:

"...quack."
---
Keifer nearly drove into a tree laughing.
---
Arrival
Then—
the gates opened.

Everyone looked outside.
---
And froze.
---
The mansion appeared.
---
Huge.
---
Massive.
---
Ridiculous.
---
Unfair.
---
Percy blinked.
---
"...that's not a mansion."
---
Silence.
---
"...that's a country."
---
Honey nodded.
---
"Valid point."
---
Even Keifer looked impressed.
---
And Keifer Watson wasn't impressed easily.
---
Aries stared.
---
"...how many people live here?"
---
Care smiled.
---
"Usually?"
Pause.
"Five."

The entire group screamed.
---
Entering the Mansion
The doors opened.
---
Everyone walked inside.
---
And immediately got lost.
---
Literally.
---
Rory disappeared.
---
Nobody knew where.
---
David found a hallway.
---
Then another hallway.
---
Then somehow the same hallway.
---
Eman looked concerned.
---
Felix was calculating property value.
---
Percy ran around like an excited child.
---
Honey was chasing him.
---
Aries was trying to prevent accidents.
---
Impossible mission.
---
Final Scene
Meanwhile—
upstairs.

Keifer finally placed JJ on a bed.
---
Still asleep.
---
Still clutching his sleeve.
---
He tried moving.
---
JJ immediately tightened her grip.
---
Without waking up.
---
"...mine."

Keifer froze.
---
Then laughed quietly.
---
"Okay."
---
And sat beside her instead.

Elsewhere—
Alex was helping a half-asleep Lyra find her room.

Care was still unconscious somewhere.
---
Cole had disappeared into a phone call.
---
Rhys was documenting everything.
---
And downstairs—
the rest of the mansion was already descending into beautiful chaos.

Ahmedabad had them now.
And unfortunately for Ahmedabad...

"Operation: Wake The Dead"
3:07 PM.

Three.
In.
The.
Afternoon.

The mansion looked like a kingdom under a sleeping curse.

Almost everyone was still unconscious.
---
Meanwhile—
a small group of responsible adults had somehow been awake for hours.
---
Keifer.
Cole.
Alex.
Yuri.
Aries.
---
All working in different corners of the mansion.
---
Yuri was answering emails.
---
Aries was reading reports.
---
Alex was on a business call.
---
Keifer had been handling Watson Corp matters since morning.
---
And Cole...
Well.
Nobody actually knew what Cole was doing.

Only that every time someone passed his office—
he was somehow on a different call.

And every person on those calls sounded terrified of disappointing him.

Very suspicious.

At around 3 PM—
the five finally gathered in the kitchen.

Aries checked the time.
---
"...they're still asleep."

Yuri nodded.

"That's concerning."

Keifer took a sip of coffee.

"That's normal."

Alex looked upstairs.

"We should wake them."

Silence.

Then everyone looked at each other.

Because nobody wanted that mission.

Finally—
Cole stood up.

"Let's go."

Immediately everyone followed.

Because if the mysterious rich man volunteered first—
they couldn't back out now.

Room One – Care
Cole opened Care's door.
---
Care was buried under blankets.
---
Completely motionless.
---
Like a hibernating bear.
---
Cole walked over.
---
"Care."
---
Nothing.
---
"Care."
---
Still nothing.
---
Keifer whispered:
---
"She's gone."
---
Yuri nodded solemnly.
---
"A tragic loss."
---
Alex was trying not to laugh.
---
Cole sighed.
---
Then lightly tapped her shoulder.
---
Big mistake.
---
Care's doctor instincts activated instantly.
---
Her leg shot out.
---
THUD.
---
Straight into Cole's stomach.
---
The entire room froze.
---
Cole took exactly one step backward.
---
Silence.
---
Care was still asleep.
---
She didn't even know what happened.
---
Aries turned away immediately.
---
Because laughing in front of Cole felt dangerous.
---
Keifer failed completely.
---
"HAHAHAHAHAHA—"

Yuri joined him.
---
Alex nearly collapsed against the wall.

Cole stared at all of them.
---
"...not one word."
---
That only made it worse.

Room Two – JJ
Next victim.

JJ.
---
Still wrapped inside her duck blanket.

Still sleeping.
---
Still somehow occupying 90% of the bed.
---
Keifer approached.
---
"Wifey."
---
No response.
---
"Jay."
---
Nothing.
---
He sighed.
---
Then leaned closer.
---
And immediately regretted it.
---
Because JJ suddenly grabbed his shirt.
---
Pulled him down.
---
And kissed his cheek.
---
While still asleep.
---
Then smiled.
---
"...mine."
---
Silence.
---
Absolute silence.
---
Aries immediately looked away.
---
Yuri looked away.
---
Alex looked away.
---
Even Cole looked away.
---
Keifer looked like his brain had stopped working.
---
JJ released him.
---
Rolled over.
---
And continued sleeping.
---
Like nothing happened.
---
Keifer remained frozen.
---
Aries patted his shoulder.

"...good luck."

Room Three – Lyra
Alex volunteered.

Huge mistake.
---
Lyra was sleeping peacefully.
---
Alex sat on the edge of the bed.

"Lyra."

Nothing.
---
"Lyra."

Still nothing.

He carefully touched her shoulder.

The neurologist immediately reacted.

SMACK.

Straight across Alex's arm.
---
Not hard.
---
But enough.

Alex jumped.

"OW."

Lyra blinked slowly.
---
Looked around.
---
"...why are you in my room?"
---
The entire hallway exploded laughing.

Rhys, who had appeared from nowhere, almost fell over.

"OH THAT'S BEAUTIFUL."

Lyra buried her face in her pillow.

"...I'm going back to sleep."

"No."

The Others
Soon the wake-up mission continued.

Percy refused to wake up.
---
Honey threatened violence.
---
That worked.
---
Freya woke up screaming.
---
Thinking she had missed Diwali.
---
She hadn't.
---
Edrix spent ten minutes convincing her.
---
Cin woke up confused.
---
"...what year is it?"
---
Rakhi smacked him.
---
"Get up."
---
Mica and Calix somehow woke up at the exact same time.
---
Which was mildly creepy.
---
Felix was already awake.
---
Nobody knew since when.
---
David woke up normally.
---
Eman woke up normally.
---
Rory dramatically acted like he'd survived a war.
---
Nobody cared.
---
Final Scene
By 4 PM—
everyone finally gathered downstairs.

Hair messy.
---
Eyes half-open.
---
Still wearing pajamas.
---
Still confused.
---
Care was drinking coffee.
---
Cole was pretending he hadn't been kicked.
---
JJ was pretending she hadn't kissed Keifer.
---
Keifer was pretending he wasn't thinking about it.
---
Lyra was pretending she hadn't slapped Alex.
---
Alex was pretending his arm didn't hurt.
---
And Rhys—
---
Rhys was taking notes.
---
For future blackmail.
---
Because some things never change.
---
