The man and Permeable arrived at the entrance of the house where a woman and a man were guarding the place and a lady and a kid were outside, wanted to meet their superior.
The man in charge initiated the conversation, "Well, well! I didn't expect you to be so level headed. It would seem the title of almighty is not only for show."
The kid got annoyed, "If you are the incharge, hurry up and let us in so, we can leave with Rudra."
"Aren't you in a hurry, at least give us a chance to offer you a seat and perhaps we can talk a little."
The lady with the kid breaks her silence, "We are not fools, we know it's your stronghold since you were able to hold Rudra in. It will be a trap but we'll play along for now."
"Of course you had some idea, afterall you are the creator of this world. Shall we go in then?"
Everyone gets inside. The path was dark for anyone to see but they all followed the natives to reach Rudra. Rudra was still in the glass and the new deities were provided with seats and the man in charge sits with them. The accomplishes of the man stand behind the man facing the deities.
The man started with a smile, "I am the host here so, let me introduce everyone.
I am Dominant. The men standing behind me are Hit, Permeable, Immortal and the woman is known as Telepath.
In the glass we have, Rudra, The Destroyer.
The lady seated in front of us is Vasudha, The Creator.
The kid with her is called Ridhi, The Organiser."
Ridhi laughed, "What is wrong with your names, any competition to pick the weirdest name?"
Dominant answered with a smile, "I was going to tell you the story but it seems you can't wait."
"Go on, I am all ears now."
"What do you think keeps human motivated?"
"I don't know about others but for you, it might be madness." Ridhi replied.
"Wrong. I was fascinated by this world and how this system works. Science always considered that everything can be explained in terms of energy but with some specifications in each case. So, I decided to find out the initial source of energy and from mythologies I found it to be deities. For my case my curiosity kept me motivated."
Vasudha replied, "Yes, curiosity is necessary to move and develop into a better being."
"Indeed. I tried finding deities through science but got stuck. Then a certain day, I got a sample of fluid to work on. The owner didn't want to show himself so, no questions were asked about him."
Ridhi speaks again, "Really, didn't even asked questions?"
"There was no need as the fluid itself had many things to offer. I worked with these four and the results were extraordinary."
Vasudha and Ridhi look at him with questioning eyes.
Dominant continued, "The property of fluid was magnificent. It was the purest form of energy and it wasn't even decaying or transforming. We continued our research until the accident of lightening occurred."
Rudra from the glass tube asked, "The incident after which all the natives of this forest considered it as a cursed forest?"
"As I said it was not my intention to discourage their beliefs, I simply acted on my instincts and availability of people for my research."
Vasudha added with a sigh, "So, this was your doing."
"Let's continue with our original discussion. That day weather was harsh; a bolt of lightning struck this premise and entered in our domain. All of a sudden, a surge of large energy blew all the system. Everything shattered and we too along with it."
"What do you mean, you along with it? You shattered or something?" Asked Ridhi curiously.
"Almost, but we manage to survive. The fluid restored us. Upon my awakening, I had strange visions, later I came to understand everything."
Worried Vasudha asked, "What did you see in these visions?". As something is bugging her.
"I came to know, how you deities work. How you dominate and impose your will. The feelings you implanted in us means nothing to you."
The tone in Dominant's voice shifts. He has a glean in his eyes upon saying, "My urge to understand the existence of Deity became a desire to let them feel how we feel on every judgment they cast on us."
"What a wicked sense!" Ridhi uttered as she was disgusted by the thought.
"Do you not intend to ask why your divine powers do not work here?"
Vasudha said with certain confidence, "I didn't think you would comply to that."
"It's the place we are in. There is something strange about this place. I sensed different energy signature before I was captured."
"True. This whole facility is contaminated with the energy of that fluid. The fluid gave us our abilities, also it provided us with this zone where your divine energy is neutralized, making you all like a human. Yes, the same humans who you created."
"Don't you think you are acting all powerful depending on some borrowed energy reserves?"
"All this power I harnessed for myself is my own now. Besides it makes us almighties for this place and no one else matters on this place other than us."
Ridhi got so impatient and asked, "What do you intend to do now, the all-powerful one?"
"Let me show you an interesting device."
Dominant points towards Rudra.
"This is the device. It captures the physical details of a person like muscle density, bone strength, structure of body frame, shock absorption capabilities of joints, rotational and torsional extent of spine and similar properties of a body."
Rudra looked around inside the glass, there were screens which were not visible till now. Vasudha and Ridhi also looked carefully to the device.
"And what of it?" Asked Ridhi.
"When Rudra was captured, all the details about him was recorded by the device. Believe me he far exceeds the capability of a regular human."
"Yes-Yes. We all know that, come to the final part." Ridhi said.
"So, we'll play a game. I am still waiting for someone and it will be quite a timepass."
Vasudha asked, "Who you are waiting for?"
Ridhi outvoiced Vasudha, "What type of game?"
"Relax, Won't be the one telling you about the game but let me tell you who I am waiting for. You might know him. He is called Kiri-shama."
Vasudha sighed, "So, you really know everything, huh!"
"Of-course, why would I lie? But for now, let's dive into the rules of the game."
