The newcomer was, of course, Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers, who had come to settle the score with Ryan!
Watching Captain Marvel's flashy entrance, Ryan glanced at the long conference table she had smashed to pieces and said indifferently:
"Ma'am, this table was made from a whole Millennial Golden Phoebe tree. It's worth over a hundred million U.S. dollars. Do you plan to pay by card or cash?"
Captain Marvel, who had just landed in a Superhero pose and was about to show off as usual, didn't expect the other party's reaction to be different from the other Kree. Instead of being filled with fear and shock at her arrival, he immediately asked her to pay for the table!
This inevitably made Captain Marvel feel a bit embarrassed. She hadn't been back to Earth in nearly twenty years; she didn't have a damn cent of Earth assets to pay him back!
But immediately, Captain Marvel remembered that there was a reason why she had landed in such a violent manner!
She was here to carry out justice, not for a social visit. Why the hell should she pay?!
Captain Marvel looked at Ryan, who was still sitting calmly in his chair, and couldn't help but demand angrily:
"You're Ryan Parker, right? Don't try to change the subject. So what if your table is expensive? You're just earning money that should be saving civilians' lives. This one table costs hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars—how many people could that have saved?!"
"Also, let me ask you, didn't you just massacre an entire building of Skrulls a while ago, and cruelly torture two Skrull youths last month?!"
Seeing Captain Marvel break his things as soon as she arrived, and not even offering compensation or an apology...
...but instead trying to morally kidnap him and questioning him, a fellow human, about killing some aliens, Ryan was truly laughed in anger.
The last shred of hope he had for this woman based on his comic book impressions completely vanished.
There was really no need to try and lecture such a stupid, alien-loving, sanctimonious bitch and then take her in for his own use!
In Ryan's eyes, if someone couldn't be a friend, they naturally had to be an enemy!
Ryan slowly stood up from his chair, looked at Captain Marvel, and his tone turned cold: "Everything you just said, the Skrulls told you that, right? And you believed them?"
Captain Marvel snorted and nodded with certainty: "Hmph! Talos and Nick have already shown me the videos. They contain all the evidence of the atrocities you've committed, so don't try to evade responsibility in front of me!"
Hearing this, Ryan shrugged calmly: "Do you want to know what the truth is?"
"Oh? You're still going to quibble? Heh, don't say I'm unreasonable; I'll give you a chance to explain, though I won't believe it anyway!"
Captain Marvel smiled disdainfully, looking at Ryan as if he were a Joker in a circus.
The corners of Ryan's mouth slowly curled into a soulless arc, and he spread his hands:
"Quibble? No, no, no. The fact I want to clarify to you is that they downplayed my crimes far too much, sister~"
"I'm going to massacre far more than just the Skrulls in a single building. I'm going to massacre the millions of Skrulls across the entire Earth. If I get the chance, I'll spread the massacre of Skrulls throughout the entire Universe!"
"I will twist off the head of every Skrull you've saved over the years and trample them under my feet to form a landscape, until your beloved Skrulls completely cease to exist in the Universe!"
"How's that? Are you satisfied with this answer, Ms. Danvers?"
Ryan stopped talking about compensation with Captain Marvel, because dead people don't need to pay; only the living are eligible to pay compensation!
Ryan didn't even have the interest to waste his breath explaining things to Captain Marvel, a woman whose brain had been fucked stupid by the Skrulls. Instead, he generously admitted to the crimes the Skrulls had 'beautified' and even took the initiative to add more of his own true 'crimes'!
Hearing such arrogant words from Ryan, how could our Cosmic Marshal, Captain Marvel—who had already sentenced Ryan to death in her mind—possibly endure it?
"You unrepentant devil, I'll send you to hell right now to atone for your sins!"
Captain Marvel roared, kicking up wood chips from the floor as she turned into an afterimage and slammed toward Ryan!
He didn't even need to feel it; just visually, Ryan could already sense how much force Captain Marvel was using this time!
She was practically putting 120% effort into it!
He hadn't seen her work this hard even when fighting Thanos!
Sure enough, it takes dead Skrulls to ignite Captain Marvel's fighting spirit and potential!
But as fast as Captain Marvel was, under Ryan's N+1 Spider-Sense, it was clearly not enough.
Ryan's right hand struck later but arrived first. With a speed Captain Marvel couldn't even track, he slammed his hand onto her charging pretty face, freezing her entire body in mid-air and interrupting her assault!
Moreover, due to the difference in their sizes, Captain Marvel, whose head was held by Ryan in mid-air, found her arms weren't long enough to actually hit him!
Without waiting for Captain Marvel to use her Photon Blast to attack, Ryan gripped her head with his fingers, swung her around like a windmill, and then violently hurled her away!
Whoosh——————BOOM!!!
Amidst a sharp whistling sound, a large hole suddenly exploded in one of the glass exterior walls of Parker Tower. A figure trailing a white sonic boom flew out backward, finally crashing into the streets of New York, plowing through several blocks before the force was exhausted and she came to a stop!
After stopping, Captain Marvel lay on the ground, questioning her life a little...
Since gaining her powers, this was the first time she had been sent flying in such a direct manner!
Usually, it was her sending others flying like this; how could someone else do it to her!
But for the thick-skinned Captain Marvel, this level of attack wasn't actually unbearable. Thus, she just shook her head, sat up from the ground, and prepared to settle the score with Ryan!
She had just underestimated the opponent and was caught off guard.
She believed that as long as she got serious, she could definitely beat him like a dog!
But before she could charge back, she noticed something wrong with her surroundings.
First, everyone on the street was looking at her in horror, their eyes as if they were looking at a monster rather than a hero!
Second, she actually saw a large number of police officers on the street hunting down Skrulls, and they were all being executed on the spot!
Seeing this, Captain Marvel immediately flew into the air and shouted to stop them: "Stop! Everyone stop right now!!!"
But clearly, no police officer was going to listen to her just because she could fly.
After all, New York police officers are notoriously stubborn; they didn't even listen to Captain America during the Battle of New York, let alone some Captain Marvel who appeared out of nowhere.
This was unbearable for Captain Marvel, who treated the Skrulls as family. She raised her hand and used a Photon Blast to blow up a police car chasing Skrulls, forcing the other officers to stop!
Seeing their teammates attacked, other officers immediately got out of their cars, formed a defensive line against Captain Marvel in the sky, and called for backup:
"Mayday! Mayday! Squad 47 reports officer casualties! Location: intersection of 57th Street and Seventh Avenue in Manhattan. A Skrull superpowered individual has been spotted. Requesting support from the Spider Family and the Avengers!"
