"Excellent! Well let's get started shall we ladies? Oh right! I can't just walk out their looking like this I should maybe look more the part of a sinner right?" I say before snapping my fingers at the thought.
Soon enough I switched from my human form into my dark elf form, and since dark elves didn't exist in the world my looks could technically go for being a demon.
Not like I'm going to give a shit in the store but just thought to go that route while outside for now.
So we went back outside and arrived in the hotel lobby proper, "Well I got to say it's…. Unique." I say looking at this dilapidated place as it is, seeing this means Alastor along with everyone else hasn't showed up yet.
I have no clue how long the hotel was open before Alastor went out of his way to make it better and change the place to look 'somewhat' nice at that though somewhat was being nice with my words.
"Yeah well we just got this place from Charlie's dad but she doesn't want to ask him for any help to come and fix this place up." Vaggie said to which Charlie pouts her lips.
I clap my hands, "Tell you what, since in essence we are business partners I can freshen this place up back to the way it was when this hotel was first made, how does that sound to you two?" I ask them both.
They look at each other, Charlie clearly more excited than Vaggie before she looked at me with a smile, "Of course we'd love your help…. Wait I just realized we don't even have your name shopkeeper." She said realizing I hadn't even introduced myself.
"Oh dear me where are my manners! You may call me Orion my dears, now then if you'd kindly step back a bit and let me preform a bit of magic for you to show." I say after introducing myself to them both.
They listen and step back a bit as I crack my knuckles before crouching onto the ground with my hand touching the rugged floor.
"By echoes of the past and threads of time, I call forth the essence divine, RESONANT RECONSTITUTION!" As soon as the spell was cast ripples shot out from where my hand lay as my magic went to work.
{Resonant Reconstitution} was originally a tier 5 spell that could only repair anything touched in a ten cubic meter range, however with my massive mana pool I can forcibly elevate it up to a tier 9 spell that could reconstruct entire city's if I wanted to.
So soon enough the peeling paint, the dirty floors, the creaky floor boards, broken pipes, anything that wasn't right with the entire hotel was soon enough completely fixed and brought back to its original form as a result.
"And for the finishing touches." I say before walking up to a side wall and placing my hand on it.
[Desginated location reached, Do you wish to build a permanent shop in [Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss Universe]?] [Y/N]
Hearing the system pop up I confirmed it as the door permanently formed within the hotel as the title of Multiversal Shop appeared above the door.
"Hmm, well I can't exactly call it that here now can I?" I say before snapping my finger as the new name appeared overhead.
The Dream Shop, where anything and everything is available to buy and sell inside, then to the side I left the store hours of it being open from 6AM to 4PM for anyone going inside.
"There you go ladies, now anyone visiting the hotel who desires to be redeemed can come to my shop to seek redemption, both going straight to the pearly gates themselves or becoming human again whichever they prefer." I explained to them both.
"Wait, what do you mean letting them return to being humans?" Vaggie asked me.
I just shrugged, "Exactly that, you don't honestly expect every sinner down here wants to go to heaven do you? Some would rather become humans again and have their souls reborn on earth instead, technically that's what the exterminations are in a sense, they are an extremely cruel, painful and agonizing way ones soul is 'cleansed' before being reborn, I just skip the pain and suffering part and boom they begin their new lives on earth, and if people pay extra they can get their rebirth while keeping their personality that they have now instead of their ego dying and a new one being made from the old one." I explained to them.
"Wait! That's what the point of the exterminations? To help sinners be reborn?" Charlie said completely confused at that notion someone would approve such a cruel way of reincarnation.
"Well it's more complicated than that, you see the head honcho who runs the exterminations is Adam, humanity's first male and the father of mankind at that, and because of his son Cain, the worlds first Murderer, along with Eve who got him kicked out of Eden and even your mother Lilith who was his ex-wife, all of them lead to him leading a rather harsh life but if I had to guess he sees all the worlds sinners as his problem and he relishes in the thought of 'redemption' by giving them cruel and painful deaths." I say to them which left them wide eyed in shock.
"Now I know you want to try talking to him and get the exterminations done and over with but really that will just piss him off more so and lead to him shortening the exterminations to a once a year thing to a twice a year thing, but not before going out of his way to destroy your hotel and try to kill you at that along with everyone in the hotel, but since I'm here you don't need to worry about him declaring war on you and the hotel in fact I welcome it because well…." I say as I side eye Vaggie before giving a wicked grin.
"Angel feathers, Angel wings, Angel halo's, Angel weapons and even Angel blood are a welcome commodity to purchase in my shop, but by all means go and keep doing what your doing I'm just saying that's what's going to happen if you do that." I say to Charlie after looking away from Vaggie who was now tightly holding her spear still, since unless she was an idiot it was clear I knew who she was but I wasn't going to say anything about it.
"But even if you don't say anything he will catch wind of it and tell you to stop what your doing as no dinner can be redeemed, you will debut him and say that you can do that, he will give you a time limit and if you can't prove to heaven that sinners can be redeemed he will launch his attack and oh boy will there be blood and plenty for me to profit off of." I say with a grin on my lips.
"You really are a greedy merchant aren't you?" Vaggie said to which I just chuckled and leaned in close.
"Oh you don't even know that half of it little girl, but anyway I do hope you can reform sinners and let them into heaven as a result of your efforts as I am genuinely rooting for you both, but since my shop opened I need to do some advertising and hire on some employees at that for the place after all I can't constantly be running this shop when I have so many places to be." I say to them both as I head off towards the front doors.
"Oh and before I go I will say a Overlord will be showing up at your nice hotel soon enough so have fun with that, toodles!" I said before heading on off to pentagram city proper.
While Hell is a shithole it definitely has some talents who would be best work for the shop, just depends on where to find them.
I reach into my suit before pulling out a compass that started to spin before pointing in one direction.
I clapped it shut before I began to make my way through Pentagram City, of course with a few guns at my side for 'protection' of course. After all tonight's great for a moonlight stroll like my inspiration likes to take for himself.
