With everything settled in HXH I returned back to my castle to see the new powers I had gained for killing Meruem.
His [Aura Synthesis] being devoured by me now that anything that I devoured could now be incorporated into my own power itself and strengthen me no matter how small.
Now all of the 'souls' I had devoured in Yggdrasil not only added to my overall health pool but it also allows me to use said powers, and since I had been apart of every single boss defeat in the past with the rest of the guild.
"It's a shame I wasn't able to kill Cainabel solo to have earned the title of becoming the God of Vampires, but now…" I couldn't help but grin as I felt my power suddenly skyrocket and the connection to my Blood Divinity increasing dramatically.
Though I didn't let the power flow outwards or else Castlevania might be destroyed as a result.
Now there wasn't just one but two main Bosses when it came to the Halloween event back in Yggdrasil, one was Dracula who I defeated to gain the race change of Origin Vampire and the other was Cainabel who was the God of all Vampires.
Theoretically I could have taken him down solo and gained the title of God of Vampires but the Devs made that nearly impossible to do after I became an Origin Vampire.
Becoming an Origin Vampire through defeating Dracula I then indirectly became his son as a result, and that's a bad thing when you want to fight him.
If you activate the conditions to challenge him to become the new Vampire God the game makes that impossible as since you are his child he basically strips you of all your power, strength, spells, everything and brings you down to Level 1 while his level goes up from level 80 all the way up to the max level of 100.
Not to mention he throws on a who hell of a lot of Debuffs on top of that to which he easily kills you in one shot leading to a revive and a loss of several levels, which when your at level 100 dropping down to 95 doesn't seem so bad but those 5 levels is the same amount of experience points someone going from level 1 to level 30 is so it's devastating and would take a full week of high level grinding just to get your levels back as a result.
There was a weaken him by destroying the event based blood cults but even then that only makes it so he can't debuff you, as you still lose all your levels when facing him as a result.
The only way I could have theoretically had done it is if I fully equipped myself in legendary Archangels of Seraphia armor that was divided into 10 pieces with a less than 1% drop to appear from each of the ten of them.
But those ten were each individual Raid Bosses on their own that would need the full guild working together going all out to defeat each individual one, and you couldn't fight them solo since the game wouldn't allow it needing a minimum of 20 players before the boss fight could begin, which is why I never was able to Defeat Cainabel.
But with Aura Synthesis and all the souls of every fallen enemy, boss and world boss circling within my body now becoming my strength alone I felt like I had broken through the level cap that was on my body.
Mind you my soul was at that of a minor god but I hadn't taken anything to strengthen my body, now however it feels like my body has now reached the status of a minor god as well.
"Now I really don't have to worry about anything in this world, hell even if I used [Army of the Damned] I could easily bring this world to ruin." I thought to myself.
[Army of the Damned] was just a Necromancy spell that summoned a huge horde of undead units from skeletons, zombies, undead soldiers, skeleton knights and even an undead dragon at max output which was more of a mid tier spell at that.
Now however it had become my own {Bird of Hermes} or {Restraint Level 0} letting me summon an absolute tide of all I had a hand in killing myself but at the same time it makes me vulnerable like Alucard making it so I could be killed if used said spell.
But unlike Alucard I had a hand killing every single world Boss from Yggdrasil and area boss together with my clan mates at least once so now it was basically impossible for a human to kill me, however actual gods are a different story.
"In the grand scheme of the multiverse I barely even count as a minor character huh?" I say to myself in a self depreciating kind of way.
But I got time and with nothing really rushing me I can slowly let my divinity become more solid as a foundation before I try to push myself to higher heights of power.
"All in good time I guess, well then why don't I have fun in the meantime? I got nothing better to do until the Sorcerer Kingdom officially forms itself anyway." I say as I get off my throne and head back to the shop.
All of my subordinates were busy doing their own things across the world leaving me plenty of free time to myself.
So I did my most cathartic thing I could do and that was go and play with my Pokemon who always enjoyed seeing me and spending time with me.
And with that I spent several relaxing days with my Pokemon while everyone else was off doing their own things.
Meanwhile the city of Castlevania was slowly being filled with more and more basic level undead while three blood red Cocoons deep within the castle pulsed slowly while the many thousands upon thousands of Beastmen corpses were being used to nourish these cocoons as their essence was consumed from the war that destroyed the Beastmen country previously.
And so nearly a week passed since then as I was relaxing within the shop while thinking over some things.
"I wonder who should I call to be this shops chef? Their are plenty of people across the multiverse that are amazing chefs but I can't figure which one could I get to work here."
There was a few I could think of Sanji from One Piece, Komatsu from Toriko, Antonio from Jojo's, Soma from Food wars and even Teruteru from Danganronpa weren't bad choices for a future chef.
Teruteru would be the easiest to keep around the shop if I take him after he 'dies' in the death game during Danganronpa 2 since he won't have anywhere to go, however he's a pervert, Sanji as well and he would have issues working for awhile since he's apart of the Straw Hats, though it could be him during the 2 year time skip so that wouldn't be bad.
Antonio would be good but he mainly focuses on Italian cooking at that so the best ones would be Soma and Komatsu as they are great chefs in their own right and end up as being world famous in their worlds as a result.
Though as I was thinking all of these thoughts before the light of the front door to my shop began to glow making me pause with my thoughts.
"Now then, let's see who will be coming into the shop today." I say as I prepare to see what customer enters my humble abode.
