The men of the pack were beginning to infuriate me. The fire within me had come from nowhere, and I did not know what to do with it. Aiden was lucky I did not know him better or he may have received more of a moutful from me. His sudden appearance once again puzzled me, yet his words irritated me. The man was a law upon himself.
I walked away, leaving Kael to handle his ass of a cousin. He had insulted Kael as much as he had me, if not more so. The fucker clearly had a rod up his ass. Perhaps he was jealous of Kael? A man wishing it was him in the line to be Alpha? That seemed to be the most logical reason for his attitude. Either that, or something had happened between the two of them. But, if that was the case, why would I be the one to be in the firing line?
