Finding time to myself was evidently not meant to be today. From Aiden, to Kael and then to Grace, each one of them had disturbed my moments of silence that I had been craving. But, truthfully, Grace's presence felt somewhat more welcomed than that of the others.
For once there was no demand there from her. If anything, I could sense an overwhelming need within her to offload the thoughts within her mind, and quite honestly, I was happy to listen to her. It was rare for Grace to have these moments of vulnerability, so I was glad to be around when they occurred, because it showed she was no different to me, and that she had a softer side.
