"Go! VW-Tiger Catapult! Crush that trash monster with its measly 800 Attack Points!"
Chazz Princeton extended his hand, his Duel Disk glinting as he pointed toward the Elemental HERO Clayman standing on Jaden Yuki's side of the field.
Whiz! Whiz!!
As Chazz's voice fell, several missiles launched from the mechanical body of VW-Tiger Catapult. They trailed thick plumes of smoke as they streaked across the field, slamming into the grey, earthen figure of the clay hero.
"Agggh!"
Amidst the barrage of explosions, Elemental HERO Clayman let out a muffled cry before erupting into a ball of fire and vanishing from the field.
The heat and shockwaves from the explosion buffeted Jaden. He raised his arms to shield himself from the impact as his Life Points began to drop steadily from 4000 LP. The counter beeped rapidly until it settled at 2800 LP.
"I'll set one card facedown and end my turn!" Chazz remarked with a smug snort.
"Things are looking a bit grim," Jaden muttered, his expression growing serious as he placed his hand over his deck. "But I'm still planning on dueling Jiang He. I can't afford to lose here!"
"My turn! Draw!" Jaden shouted. "I summon Elemental HERO Burstinatrix in Defense Position!"
A soft light enveloped the field as a female monster with vibrant red armor and fan-shaped hair appeared. She crouched low with her arms crossed over her chest, manifesting on the card surface.

"A female monster spirit, huh..." Jiang He muttered to himself, clicking his tongue.
He felt a slight pang of annoyance. Looking at the two "Troll Decks" he had exchanged from the system, he realized there wasn't a single "waifu" monster in sight. Forget about spirits like Dark Magician Girl or Maiden with Eyes of Blue; across both decks, he couldn't even find a female animal monster.
It was either piles of corpses, magma monsters, or things like Celtic Guardian. It was enough to make him feel completely out of his element.
I guess that's the only downside to these Troll Decks... they're just too morbid, he thought.
Alexis Rhodes caught a snippet of his muttering and turned to look at him, her brow furrowing in confusion. All she saw was Jiang He shaking his head with a look of helpless resignation.
She assumed he was shaking his head because Jaden was in such a disadvantageous position.
"That Jaden guy was able to defeat Dr. Crowler head-on. I don't think he's the type to go down this easily," Alexis said calmly.
"Uh..." Jiang He blinked, then nodded in agreement. "You're right. He's always been excellent at health-locking."
"Health-locking?" Alexis echoed, her face full of questions.
"I set one more card and end my turn!"
Down on the field, Jaden had finished his defensive play and signaled the end of his round.
It was Chazz's turn again. He drew a card from his deck. Without even looking at it, a triumphant grin spread across his face. "I summon X-Head Cannon in Attack Position!"
A yellow and blue mechanical construct with twin cannons appeared in a flash of light.
"Next, thanks to the effect of my Continuous Spell, Frontline Base, which I activated last turn, I can Special Summon one Level 4 or lower monster from my hand once per turn! I choose Z-Metal Tank!"
Another flash of light followed, and a golden, treaded machine with dual pincers emerged.
"Those are the rare monsters that start with X and Z. Wait, could it be...?!" Syrus Truesdale's face was pale with shock.
Even Alexis's two friends standing nearby looked stunned.
"No way...!" Jaden exclaimed, having realized what was coming.
"Yes way! Open facedown card! Continuous Trap: Call of the Haunted!"
Chazz gestured toward his backrow, and the card he had set last turn flipped up, revealing an image of tombstones shrouded in mist.
"This trap allows me to select one monster in my Graveyard and Special Summon it in Attack Position!"
"And just a moment ago, when I used VW-Tiger Catapult's effect to change Clayman's battle position, I discarded a key monster to the Graveyard!"
"Resurrect, Y-Dragon Head!"
Under Chazz's command, a red mechanical wyvern rose from the ground, letting out a metallic roar!
"With this, all the pieces are assembled! Get ready, Jaden Yuki!"
"I merge the 'X', 'Y', and 'Z' monsters into XYZ-Dragon Cannon, and then I fuse it further with VW-Tiger Catapult!"
Chazz's face was the picture of arrogance.
"Come forth! VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon!"
As he spoke, the various mechanical monsters on his field began to disassemble and rebuild themselves. Pulled together by arcs of electricity and magnetic force, they integrated into a singular form.
In an instant, a massive, bipedal mechanical giant stood on the field. It brandished twin pincers, featured two massive cannons on its chest, and boasted a pair of red mechanical wings on its back.
The pressure it exerted on the field was immense.

Looking at where the red mechanical wyvern was positioned in the giant's assembly...
Jiang He could only say that this thing was a real heavyweight.
"I'll form... the crotch."
"Heh heh heh. Jaden Yuki, before my ultimate ace monster, you have no future! Your next turn will never come!" Chazz laughed.
"I activate the special effect of VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon! Once per turn, I can banish one card on your side of the fieldand that's not limited to monsters! Spells and Traps are fair game too!"
