"In the Far North, I witnessed with my own eyes the struggle between the previous Supreme Guardian and an unspeakable power. In her final moments, she shared with me her greatest regret..."
"...the blockade that separated the Overworld and the Underworld for over a decade. As time passed, she began to realize the severe consequences of her decisions... though she felt guilt, she had long passed the point of no return."
"Therefore, she left a final request... that as the influence of the Stellaron fades, Belobog might become whole once again. She hoped the people of both the Overworld and the Underworld could greet the dawn together."
Inside the carriage, everyone was watching Guinaifen's livestream.
Initially, when they learned they were seeing the future, everyone was either solemn, shocked, or incredulous. But as the plot unfolded, their hearts slowly began to relax.
After all, no matter how you looked at it, this was still just a game. It wasn't as if a monster was going to jump out of the screen and eat them.
Under the constant barrage of shocks, March 7th seemed to have gone numb. She even grabbed a plate of fruit and snacks.
Sitting on the sofa, she watched Bronya's speech with great interest.
Stelle leaned over and began to eat and drink just as recklessly as March 7th. Since they couldn't do anything about the game, they might as well just "lie flat" and give up!
Besides, watching themselves from a third-person perspective was actually quite fun!
The two made up their minds. When they had the time, they were going to go back and watch the previous plot without missing a single word!
On the plaza in front of Qlipoth Fort, witnessed by the people, Bronya's speech reached its conclusion.
"I firmly believe that through our joint efforts, our worldthe world the Trailblazers call Jarilo-VIwill surely return once more to the embrace of the stars."
"But before we reach that goal, please allow me to lead everyone forward in my humble capacity..."
"I, Bronya Rand, the nineteenth Supreme Guardian of Belobog, hereby swear"
Amidst the cheers and jubilation of the populace, the speech came to a successful end.
March 7th and Stelle clapped in unison.
"You have to admit, Bronya's a really good speaker!"
"Yeah, she even mentioned us! Our struggle on Jarilo-VI wasn't in vain!"
"I've decided, I'm pulling for Seele and Bronya! I want them both!"
"I just hope my budget is enough..."
They chatted as they watched.
The following plot was very relaxed, mainly consisting of March 7th wanting to take photos and go shopping. Soon, March 7th complained of being tired and wanted to go back to the Goethe Hotel for a good sleep.
Seeing the hotel appear in the plot, Stelle couldn't help but blush. She secretly prayed the developer wouldn't pull any more stunts in the hotel this time.
If this continued, her persona as the cool and handsome Galactic Batter would be completely ruined! She'd be turned into a total laughingstock!
Right after the [Rest] option was selected, the screen suddenly went black.
Rows of small text appeared.
[The Engine of Creation, Cocolia, the illusory space, the gaze of The Preservationimages related to that final battle flash back and forth, eventually piecing together into a fuzzy and surreal film of memory.]
[The final frame of the image freezes at the second before the Stellaron dissipated along with Cocolia. In that brief instant, a strange voice seemed to press against your ear... and whisper...]
[But the voice vanished in an instant. You try to go back to the previous frame of the memory, only to find the film has been cut, the slice clean and sharp, leaving no trace behind.]
[Then, you hear the woman's voice once more...]
"At the end of the journey, all the puzzles that trouble you will be solved."
The livestream was dead silent for several seconds. Then, Guinaifen's startled cry rang out.
"This... this is Kafka's voice, isn't it!?"
March 7th poked Stelle.
Her face was full of curiosity and fascination. "Hey, tell me, what exactly is your relationship with Kafka?"
Stelle opened her mouth, but of course, she didn't know the answer. Still, she ventured a tentative guess. "Mom?"
"Pfft..."
The soda in March 7th's mouth sprayed everywhere.
"Kafka is your mom?"
"No..."
"Mommy Kafka?"
"Actually, don't say that! I think calling that woman that is actually quite fitting."
"In that case, I'm your sister, and Himeko is your foster mother..."
Seeing March 7th's words get more and more ridiculous, Himeko coughed lightly, signaling her to stop.
At that exact moment, another image appeared on the screen!
And this person...
Was someone completely unexpected!
Someone who should have left the stage long ago.
Someone who seemed to be there for comedic relief throughout the entire story, yet played a crucial role at key moments.
Sampo Koski!
Right now, Sampo was facing an old-fashioned television, speaking as if to himself.
"Yeah, that was a real close call! Luckily, I had a sudden spark of inspiration: Hey! Why should I have to be the main character, right? It's much better for us to just be the Masked Fools."
"As it turns out, the crew of the Astral Express is even more interesting than I thought! You liked them? Really? Hahaha, a true masterpiece indeed."
"...No, no, I don't want to leave here yet. What, Epsilon? What kind of fun is there to be found in a place of such debauchery? 'The more joy reflects human dignity, the higher the level of joy'now that's interesting!"
"Alright, bye-bye. Give my regards to the brothers and sisters at The Tavern, and don't forget to tell themjust say to look forward to Old Sampo's next act! For now, it's my curtain call."
As if the conversation with someone had ended, Sampo left the place with a smile.
March 7th was dumbfounded. Suddenly, she snapped out of it.
"Quick! Open the chat and see what everyone else is saying!"
The comments in the scrolling chat were just as blindsided as March 7th and the others.
...
"???"
"Sampo, what are you doing!?"
"Old Sampo actually has a scene at the very end of the plot?"
"He's not from this planet?"
"I'm seriously shocked! I never expected Sampo to have another identity!"
"This guy is definitely not simple!"
"I thought something was off about him before, some of the options in the main story were always hinting at it!"
"Could he be from the IPC?"
"Does Sampo have a connection to the Stellaron Hunters?"
...
Just as everyone was speculating about Sampo's identity, the man who had supposedly walked away suddenly reappeared on camera.
He bowed slightly toward the screen.
"This story is dedicated to you, dear viewerI wonder if you found a little joy in it?"
"If you say no, ah, Sampo will be very sad."
