James saw that Yvonne had barely eaten a third of her food and only drank half a glass of juice. He furrowed his brows and said.
"You put on weight? How? And where? I thought you look great!"
She didn't reply. She did not want to discuss whether she was fat or thin with a man.
Seeing that she didn't speak, he thought that she didn't believe what he said and continued. "Don't listen to the nonsense. Women don't have to be skinny thin. I believe, both men and women should be healthy. As for being thin, it's not important."
When she saw him talking so excitedly, she could not help frowning as she thought to herself, "Trying to preach to a doctor??!!"
She sneered and said, "It's easy to comment. But if I were a fat woman weighing 400 pounds now, would you still want to have lunch with me?"
"Yes, of course I will."
He said firmly and decisively.
However, she continued, "That's because I don't weigh 400 pounds."
