With the brief exchange over, Hyeong Ki and the other Espers immediately moved into their assigned positions. Rim Young was told what he had to do, but he already knew how most of it went whenever Wi Hajoon and Hyeong Ki teamed up.
The plan was simple, but its execution left no room for mistakes. Their objective was to lure the monster out of the contaminated lake, expose it for only a fleeting moment, and have Hyeong Ki fire the decisive shot before it could retreat beneath the neon waters once again.
Rim Young was free to move around now that he was standing a fair distance away from Hyeong Ki. This was the exact position where the enlarged bullet would appear before him, allowing him to seize control of it and redirect it toward the monster. The moment Hyeong Ki increased the bullet's size, it would inevitably lose most of its speed and momentum.
