The battle had ended, leaving behind an air of relief and camaraderie. Sun
Wukong, Erlang Shen, Ungar, and Talus had returned victorious, and the group prepared
to head back to the King's Palace. The threat had been neutralized, and everyone was
safe—at least for now. Nova, however, had other plans. "We'll drop you off at the
palace," he announced, his tone brisk, "but Ungar, Narcis, and I have work to do." Zaiyal,
always one to probe deeper, raised a brow. "What do you mean, 'work to do'?" With a
sigh, Nova elaborated, "Since we've been busy fighting Dreadmarch and his ilk,
intelligence has revealed a kidnapping plot. The League of Heroes is targeting someone
from one of the rival nations. This here—" He tapped a console, projecting the image of a
stunning blonde woman with a graceful, slender figure. "—is their target." Talus was
quick to mock. "A human? Don't tell me that's supposed to be the cat king's daughter!"
Nova's retort was sharp. "She is—adopted into the royal family, as it happens. And while
she might not share his lineage, she's as much a royal as anyone else. You'll be dealing
with her security detail while we dig into something more pressing." "What could be
more pressing than royal security?" Zaiyal asked, smirking. Nova's eyes narrowed. "A
friend of mine on Earth has intel that might unravel the Gnostic conspiracy we've been
chasing." The name dropped like a thunderclap. "Sarai." The mood shifted instantly.
Sarah's voice broke the tense silence. "Who is Sarai?" Ungar's shout echoed before Nova
could answer. "Sarai was killed! I saw it myself in the battle against Lucifer!"
Nova laughed, "He died? As far as I can tell he was an alien who once tried to
destroy Helios." Ungar shouted again, "that is him I remember the day that Daniel
stopped him." A memory flashed across everyone's mind of Sarai being defeated by
Daniel on the battlefield on Helios over 1,000 years ago. Sarai wiped the blood from his
face growling, "You little pest, you think you've bested me?! I'll show you!! I'll show
you all!! I'll blow this planet to pieces!!" Sarai ran back towards the spaceship he arrived
in and hopped in the front and began to take off into the sky until he was hovering over
the planet. "YOU FOOLS HAVE SEALED YOU'RE FATE!!!" THIS PLANET IS
HISTORY!!!! Enjoy the last fleeting moments you have on this rock before I reduce it to space dust!! YAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" said Zaidon.
Daniel began to glow white
energy as he propelled himself into the sky with his sword in his hand. The glee had left
Zaidon's face, "WHAT?!" Daniel continued to surge upwards, "I won't let you destroy this
world!!" The fight was over in an instant when Daniel sliced through the spaceship as he
began to plummet to the ground and Sarai for his part as the cannon of his ship was
deactivated he ship began to malfunction. And after the ship exploded and Daniel sparred
Sarai who lay on the ground with his eyes closed was almost killed by Ungar. Years went
by and Sarai was a member of the team until he was killed in the battle with Lucifer.
Ungar clenched his metal fist, "No Sarai died long ago. I already said goodbye to my
friend. Whoever this imposter is, he's a liar. I would have known if he loved my body and
his soul as well." The team landed back at the Palace and a strange being with tentacles
on his face was waiting for them. The being looked just like Cthulhu. Ungar this time
looked pleased upon them landing. "So Cthulu took you long enough to reincarnate. It's
been sometime since I've seen you." Cthulhu laughed, "its been 1,000 years." Nova
yelled, "Cthulhu! Come you're coming with me, Ungar and Narcis we've got work to
do!" Ungar for his part threw Talus towards Sir Rhyme. "Let him rest up! He'll need it!"
Ungar, Cthulhu, Narcis and Nova left in the ship while the others entered the palace. Sir
Rhyme placed Talus in a bed where he rested. Talus began to have a strange dream.
Talus dreamt he was in a field and he saw two beings towering over him: the
Demiurge that girl and Sun Wukong. He began to battle against them. The fight was
incredible. Talus for the first time in his life felt happiness. He began to grow excited and
then his body stopped. A voice spoke to him: "Talus if you wish to fight them again you
must become a vessel for me, you must help me in my quest for world domination."
Talus smirked, "I have no interest in such trivial desires. I only want to battle stronger
opponents." The voice laughed, "then I'll make sure you never fight another opponent
again." Talus began to quiver in pain and he began to shout as he realized the thing was
killing him, eventually a strange black caterpillar crawled out of his head which made
Talus tremble. "If you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. That little friend of yours
wants to usurp the Demiurge and become the new God of this world," said the
Caterpillar. "Which friend?" His eyes widened, "Oh that makes sense." The caterpillar
laughed, "and that's not all in two days time an alien armada will descend upon Helios
and their Emperor Qaizar will try his hand at conquering Helios before the Demiurge is
complete, if you aide me I'll make sure you have you're fight with the Demiurge and the
troublesome Monkey King." Talus screamed, "GIVE ME POWER!!!! GIVE ME MORE
POWER!!!!!!!" Lightning struck Talus and he began to pulsate with energy and an orb
appeared in his stomach. The orb was an entire universe which had been absorbed into
his body. The power was overwhelming, "YAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! With
this power I will either conquer or die trying!! Nothing can stop me!!"
Meanwhile, on Nova's spaceship Narcis was the first to ask the question, "so how
do you know Cthulhu Nova?" Nova smirked, "I found him when I was studying the ruins
on Moonbase 9. Since then we've been pretty close, he's taught me much about what I
know of black magic." Ungar growled, "I could have told you that, that's why he's was
waiting for us, you've known him for over 6 years and you message him about all your
findings I should know, my body contains both your souls. Just as it contains Talus, Sun
Wukong, Zaiyal and everyone else'" said Ungar. Nova brushed that off, "yet you didn't
know that Sarai was alive?" Ungar became angry, "BECAUSE SARAI IS DEAD! I saw
him die!!" said Ungar. "The only way Sarai could be alive and I wouldn't know is if he
was sent to a world beyond my knowledge, clearly that's not the case. Something is
wrong. I don't know how he could be with us but it doesn't sit right," said Ungar.
The next day at the palace everyone was alerted that something had happened and
a large metal capsule had crashed right in the front lawn. Everyone went to see what it
was and as the metal door began to slowly open everyone assumed their fighting stances.
To everyone's surprise all that appeared from the capsule was a young brunette girl with
long silken hair and striking green hairs, she slowly looked around and asked, "Where's
Nova? I was told he would be here at this time." Everyone was surprised, especially
Zaiyal, "How...how do you know Nova?!" The girl's cheeks turned red, "I really can't
say." Zaiyal was struck with shock. "So where did you come from?" said Talus. "You're
Talus right, tell me did the alien armada arrive yet?" Talus was now awestruck, "Alien
Armada?" To himself Talus thought, "Dammit! That's not supposed to occur for a few
days?! How on earth does this woman know about that?!" Red Ace stepped forward,
"explain yourself how do you know about Nova, and what do you mean of an alien
armada?" The girl said, "If Nova isn't here I'll talk to Sir Rhyme she pointed directly at
him." Sir Rhyme stepped forward, "Verywell." Sir Rhyme and the girl walked over to the
edge of the front of the palace where no one could hear them, After this Sir Rhyme asked
rather bluntly, "So tell me who are you?"
The girl took a deep breath, "my name's Qayyim, and I'm Nova's daughter." For
his part, Kai as he was an elf and had powerful hearing fell to the ground in shock while
Talus simply giggled, "wow who would have guessed." Zaiyal was deeply confused; he
didn't know what the two were reacting to. Sir Rhyme was hesitant, "Well I'm not the
most trusting of Nova, but I certainly didn't know he had a daughter, he never told us
about anything like this." Qayyim for her part said, "Well there's a good reason for that. Afterall he should have no idea who I am at this point in time." This piqued Sir Rhyme's
interest, "this point in time?" There was what seemed like a long silence, "Well I'm
Nova's daughter from 23 years in the future, in fact I should have been born just 2
months ago." This stunned Sir Rhyme, "What do you mean, are you telling me you just
arrived in a Time Machine?" Qayyim nodded, "Yes, and it's one way. The time travel
technology only goes back in time not forward so I'm stuck here.
In a way I'm kind of
lucky but not really, I honestly have nothing to go back too." Sir Rhyme was beyond
curious, "And what does that exactly mean?" Qayyim closed her eyes, "Well I'm sure
none of you are accustomed to time travel but going back in time does not alter the fabric
of time, that's a common misconception. If anything on some level I wished it did so
there's still a chance you could lose but it's not because I showed up. But just know in my
time you defeat this Gnostic threat. In my time the Demiurge is no more." Sir Rhyme was
delighted, and then became skeptical, "Wait, how do I know what you say is the truth?"
Qayyim nodded, "Well honestly you can't. I know much of what's happened to you
thanks to my late husband; the one whom I'm currently carrying their child." Sir Rhyme
stuttered, "you're husband?" Qayyim pointed in the direction of Zaiyal, "He's right over
there." Sir Rhyme fell to his knee in shock. Talus began to giggle and laugh maliciously,
"Well looks like someone's going to be a daddy." Zaiyal was furious, "What did she say?!
She pointed and the Bear was brought to his knees." Sir Rhyme slowly got up. Sun
Wukong smirked, "Well that explains this girl's essence," said Monkey. "That's the most
shocking thing I've heard and I couldn't even tell you why? If what you say is true you
would have been Zaiyal's second wife; his first Aquarius died over 1,000 years ago."
Qayyim without missing a beat said, "Yes because of the time skip." Qayyim then went
on to explain everything, she explained that events would be similar enough but she
wasn't aware of all the details that occurred over the last 23 or even 1,000 years but she
vividly described the relationship between her husband and Daniel and all of the details
about her father and all of the figures like Ungar, Sir Rhyme, and all of the others and
their origins in great detail. Sir Rhyme was confused after this, "I don't understand, if
what you told me is true that means we could just tell everyone who you are why wait."
Qayyim said, "Because they're more likely to believe you then me." Sir Rhyme nodded,
"I understand I'll give everyone the head's up."
Sir Rhyme led everyone into the conference room where he began to speak, he
told everyone everything. By the end there was almost without exception a white face in
every corner of the room. "It can't be you're my wife??!! Or you're going to be my
wife???!!!" Green Wisp chimed back, "Well now that that's settled why did you come
back if it was not related to the Gnosis issue." Qayyim slowly began to speak, "most of
Zaiyal's closest friends and compatriots will be killed as well as countless millions of common people, millions more will be enslaved by this race of demons from beyond the
stars, I don't know they're name. All I know is Nova built me the Time Machine shortly
before he was killed, Zaiyal had died a week earlier because of those things.
It won't be
for another 20 years but I need to make sure everyone's prepared for this new threat after
the current threat is neutralized. I'm here because I know if everyone had gotten stronger
and didn't slack in their training after the Gnosis crisis was dealt with, they would have
survived the demonic wave, in fact all of you barely survive the battle with Gnosis, just
as you barely survived the fight with Lucifer" Outside, unknown to everyone the
Demiurge was listening in, she was in visible shock, "these fools defeat me, but they're
killed by some strange other-worldly demons, how is that possible?" The Demiurge had
been spying on Talus, Sun Wukong and Erlang Shen but this was a bombshell she wasn't
prepared to hear. Talus jumped up on the table with excitement, "YES!!!! I can't wait, so
you're saying after we fight these animals??!!! We get to fight these beings that are like a
billion times stronger!!!" As he said this saliva began to drool from his mouth. Erlang
shouted, "That's enough Demon we have more important matters to deal with."
This was naturally a lot to take in, so Qayyim stated, "I know this is a lot but I'll
tell you what else is pertinent. The kidnapping plot of the Princess will begin in 10
minutes you're late for the Emperor's meeting because of me but the false information
the King's intel was relayed will tell you the plot will be in 72 hours. It actually will be in
about 24 hours. Not only that, there will be an alien armada attack 2 days from now. And
we will be forced to temporarily join forces with the forces of Gnosis like the Demiurge
to face this foe." Talus began to dance with excitement, "YES!!! YES!!!! YES!!!!!! I
can't wait until I get to fight stronger and stronger opponents." Sun Wukong who had
grown tired of Talus raving lifted his hand out and uttered a spell the spell conjured a
fillet that surrounded Talus's head. Sun Wukong recited an enchantment and Talus began
to scream in agony. "Will you stop this immature nonsense at once?" Talus nodded his
head as tears rolled down his cheeks. The crown disappeared but Sun Wukong asserted
that it would reappear whenever he decided to misbehave. "So how did it happen?" said
Zaiyal. Qayyim was confused, "How did what happen?" Zaiyal said, flinching, "How
we're we all killed?" Qayyim said softly, "Sir Rhyme was the first to go, then these
monster destroyed Narcis Martreya, then they destroyed Green Wisp and Red Ace, then
they destroyed Sarah and Kai and Noah, and then eventually they destroy Talus and
sealed Ungar into the void of their world as they couldn't kill him, and then they killed
you Zaiyal and my father Nova." Everyone got quiet but after what seemed like an
eternity Sarah said, "So the kidnappers will arrive here at the Palace in about 24 hours?"
Qayyim nodded, "That's right. They'll be here for Princess Ghazallius within 24 hours,
whether we're ready or not." Qayyim then said, "After the alien attack arrives I don't know how much will have changed after that after I've traveled back." Zaiyal was
confused, "Wait you said you coming back didn't change history."
Qayyim said in
response, "It doesn't, that's not how time travel works. You can't change the past at least
with the technology Nova introduced 20 years ago. You can only go back to an alternate
universe that's created. In fact I might even be wrong about the prediction of the 24
hours. It's just like when Daniel showed up in your world to begin with. My traveling
here is no different." Zaiyal breathed a sigh of relief until the alarm system began to go
off in the building. Qayyim was stunned, "there to kidnap the princess already, the events
of this world are clearly very different." Without saying a word everyone began to run to
the Princess's quarters, who was an individual none of them had met before.
Talus's mouth began to salivate as he ran down the hall. He crossed what looked
like a German National Socialist in the proper SS uniform with a skull for a head. He
began to fight Talus and was able to counter his attacks until the German slowed down
time. As he did this, Talus began to become concerned. But none other than Qayyim
came to his aid. She kicked the German back into the wall when the German got up,
Qayyim began to prance in the same place with her arms up. The German began to laugh,
"You fools are over your heads. It's only a matter of time. Vitness my vonderful power."
After this he began to charge up his power but Qayyim pulled out two Samurai swords
and was still able to counter all of the Germans' attacks. "Man you're wife can fight,"
said Talus. Zaiyal huffed, "She's not my wife, you heard her she came from a different
world practically." After this had occurred a strange girl with pigtails, red hair and glasses
and a sort of classical 18th century dress began to fight Talus; she summoned a giant
metaphysical clock that began to slow down time around them. Talus began to struggle
but Sun Wukong began to scold him. "LOWER YOUR HEARTBEAT BLOCKHEAD!"
Talus listened to the Monkey and as the fight continued Talus began to collect his
bearings. Talus for his part knocked the girl through the side of the building damaging a
large portion of the Palace. Talus began to charge up several Ki Attacks which he began
to throw at the girl like a machine gun of a ball of energy. The girl using her two fingers
brushed off all the attacks. The Demiurge was watching from above, perplexed by the
whole affair. It seemed as though the girl with the Red Hair was going to gain the
upperhand but someone else kicked her into the dirt. It was none other than the so-called
evil Daniel, Daniel 02. Talus grunted, "why on earth are you here?" Daniel 02 shrugged,
"I got tired of those Gnosis creeps, I figured teaming up with you guys would be more
fun, just make sure to stay out of my way and let me do my own thing." As soon as he
said this Daniel 02 began fighting the girl which angered Talus, "No you don't come back
here!" Talus and Daniel 02 began fighting over who could fight the woman. While in the
middle of the fight, Sun Wukong, the Handsome Monkey King grabbed them both by the ears.
Talus and Daniel 02 began to flinch in pain. "You two disciples need to mind your
egos. Now let old monkey take care of this fiend." Sun Wukong floated down to meet the
redheaded girl on her level. The girl spit on the ground, "Do you have any idea who I am,
you freak?" Sun Wukong shook his head, "I cannot recall you, should I have an idea. I'm
sorry I am many epochs old." The girl began to grit her teeth, "My name is Socaria and I
am one of the greatest villains in the Association of Villainy, I can put any superhero in
his grave." The Monkey laughed, "Well I'm no superhero and I'm immortal. I will live as
long as there is the abode of Heaven. So your little resume means nothing to me." The
girl became furious, "Silence you impotent little ape!!" She tried to attack Sun Wukong
but the old Monkey King dodged all of her attacks like they were in slow motion. The
Monkey King threw his rod down and stopped it before it crashed upon her skull, the
impact caused a gush of wind and energy and Socaria instinctively jumped backwards her
arms were shaking, "What the hell are you, what kind of trick was that?" Sun Wukong
began to laugh, "No tricks here behold the power of an experienced Monist." Sun
Wukong clasped his hands together and clothes his eyes inside his body were three
celestial spheres which were actually three universes. Socaria began to cower in fear as
she trembled and stepped backward, "You're a god!! That's not fair. That's not fair!!" Sun
Wukong leaped forward in an instant, placing his arm out, "I know of all the evils you
have committed. And I tell you this, not even a thousand life-times will purge you of your
sins." After this there was a bright light and the girl was no more. Talus and Daniel 02
bowed before Sun Wukong and they promised they would be his disciples. Sun Wukong
smirked and agreed and then he went over to help Qayyim and the Green Wisp fighting
the German man. The German was gaining the upper hand. Until Sun Wukong came into
the battle the three of them Red Ace, Qayyim and Sun Wukong but up quite a fight. But
the German laughed, "Little monkey you think that little celestial sphere trick will work
on me. It worked on that fool Socaria. But behold my essence. The German revealed his
body was made of five bright red celestial spheres i.e. five universes. Sun Wukong began
to power up and fight him.
Meanwhile, a large Black Man and another White Man began to knock down the
door of the Princess's bed chamber. They kicked it down. The Princess was waiting there
with her gun drawn but the black male simply blocked every bullet with his hand until
she was out. The white man cracked his knuckles, "Maybe we should have a little fun,
before we have to give her to those Satanic creeps." The Black man simply said, "We
have business to take care of." The white man began to plead, "Fine, but make it quick,
we have work to do, I'll be waiting outside." The girl began to cry as the man forced
himself on her. But just before something could have happened and the man was half way
undressed Zaiyal burst through the room along with the Green Wisp. The man who was completely naked as he was just about to start committing the act began to fight Zaiyal
and the Green Wisp. The Green Wisp threw one blow but it was quickly blocked by the
man while he simultaneously blocked another attack from Zaiyal. Zaiyal began to
become furious, "Have a taste of Solarian Power!" He powered up now surrounded by
red light. Zaiyal quickly finished off this man.
Zaiyal for his part picked up the Princess
and said she needed to be taken back to Nova's compound as the Palace was no longer
secure. But as they were about to head off the German man caught sight of Zaiyal and
knocked him and the princess to the ground. All of the other heroes were stunned behind
the German were no less than 30 villains some of them were terrible monsters. It became
clear at this point that the German was done playing around. "I lost my face at Stalingrad
thousands of years ago, I have no time for these little squabbles." The Demiurge now
began to become concerned and she joined the fight to the shock of everyone. "You're the
Demiurge?!" said Zaiyal. "That's right, I'm just helping you clowns because I feel sorry
for you." "Well I'm not totally trusting but I won't lie we'll take all the help we can get."
When the German heard this he bowed on one knee and so did all the other villains.
The Demiurge who was in the form of a little girl was confused, "Why do you
bow." The German said, "don't you remember me, I'm Hans Ziegler. I lost my Face in
the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942, I promised my soul to you and you granted me eternal
life." The Demiurge smirked, "I do that for a lot of folks." The Demiurge for her part
asked, "In any way why do you want the Princess for?" Hans Ziegler replied, "Those
gnostic fools hired us to kidnap her for some sacrificial ritual." The Demiurge giggled,
"Well I command you to not do so." The German replied: "As you wish my liege."
Qayyim was deeply confused, "Why order them to stop? Answer us now!!" Demi
giggled, "Well I did overhear some kind of alien invasion, I assume we might as well join
forces, my survival as the god of this world depends on it." Zaiyal shrugged, "And why
should we trust you?" The Demiurge began to show this devilish smile, "Well here's the
truth, as soon as this intergalactic threat is dealt this alliance is terminated. And after that
I won't stop until I've crushed all of you." Zaiyal grew angry, "WHAT WAS THAT?!"
The Demiurge began to giggle and then cackle, "I will break all of you one by one but I
guess for now we're allies." Talus, barely able to maintain his excitement said, "I can't
wait for you to break me." Demi turned around surprised and began to blush quickly
growing angry, "Whatever, hmph!" Zaiyal looked over to Qayyim, "so if you're time is
anything to go by, where did the Alien Armada land and begin its invasion?" Qayyim
pointed east, "In this very Imperial city, right over there about 2 miles in the heart of the
city." One of the countless aliens who had fought alongside our heroes on the frontlines
stepped forward. "I held my tongue before but you must be mistaken. This planet (the old
Helios) is part of an Intergalactic Empire and Federation that spans three different galaxies and countless advanced planets. How could some neerdowell show up and avoid
the Imperial security forces?" Qayyim said sternly, "Because they will break through
from Daniel 02's world, how they knew of this dimension is still a mystery to me. God
willing they don't arrive I'm only here just so I can save a world like the one I lost. The
same is the case with the Demons in the future." Qayyim turned around and she was
visibly upset. Qayyim wiped a tear from her eye.
"Well, let's go inside and prepare our
battle plan." Talus thought to himself, "little does she know that the alien armada will
arrive in just one more day as the day is almost up. The caterpillar told me." Talus then
remembered, "Wait, why is Nova going to pick up Sarai." Zaiyal scoffed, "Apparently its
part of some kind of plan. But honestly Qayyim, I trust your father about as far as I can
throw him."
