"Keep your shoulders level."
"Don't lock your knee."
"Turn your eyes forward."
Captain Rowan repeatedly reminded the trainees as they balanced themselves on their other leg. However, just a few minutes after they started, a trainee near the back already wobbled fell to the ground.
The trainee slowly looked up, "Captain..."
"Start over."
"..." The trainee lowered his head in defeat.
The other trainees also felt sorry for him, but they couldn't do much since they were also suffering from the same thing.
By the time 15 minutes had passed, nearly everyone was sweating again. Lionel could feel every muscle in his leg working continuously. As his feet stuck to the ground, his calf burned, and his thigh ached.
Yet he remained standing.
Eventually, Rowan nodded before raising a hand, "Enough."
The trainees immediately lowered their legs at that signal. Many of them nearly collapsed to the ground as they held onto their knees.
