General Vhalis stepped from the darkness---
And oh, boy!
The humans did not like that!
Several soldiers jerked backwards. One reached for his sword. Another visibly startled hard enough that he tumbled over his own feet, letting out a girl-like screech before he crashed down on the wooden floor.
Sera smirked.
To be completely honest, she also hadn't realized Vhalis was there. But Kael had specifically told her that the general would be keeping an eye on her while he returned to Angelista. So, obviously, the she-female would be there.
The woman was the Demon Lord's shadow.
Loyalty thumped everything else.
The rest was just simple deduction...
But Sera wasn't about to share that information with anyone else. She found it far more entertaining if they believed she possessed some terrifying ability to detect hidden demons lurking in dark corners. Or if they believed her skilled enough to detect something that their trained senses could not.
