Part 1: Fate
Sitting silently in the dark corner of the room, Ryuk remembered his past life.
When Ryuk was little, a completely different world surrounded him.
He was around 7 years old back then.
One ordinary day, he saw a swordsman fighting fiercely on the television screen.
From that moment on, Ryuk only looks at that breathtaking swordsmanship.
Ryuk became very inspired by the television's sword fighting.
He decided deep down that he wants to be a great swordsman just like that.
With hope in his heart, he asked his parents to let him learn swordsmanship.
As little children naturally want to do many different things in life.
And some parents kindly allow their children's innocent wishes to grow.
And fortunately, Ryuk's parents fully agreed with his early passion.
And they gave Ryuk a proper swordsmanship tuition from his childhood days.
Ryuk became very happy and incredibly grateful by his parents' supportive decision.
Ryuk truly loves his parents with all his young heart.
Ryuk everyday in the evening would eagerly go to his designated Kendo place.
And there, he worked hard to learn basic swordsmanship day after day.
Ryuk was actually very talented right from his childhood.
He picked up the movements naturally and became the best in his kendo class in just some months.
Ryuk's absolute dedication on his kendo and his swordsmanship was clearly noticed by the Kendo teachers.
And the Kendo teachers constantly praise Ryuk for his exceptional, rare talent.
Ryuk even learn the most advanced techniques of kendo directly taught by his main teacher.
And after only 5 short months of grueling training.
Ryuk had successfully won the highly competitive award of the Tokyo kendo award.
Ryuk and his proud teacher felt very proud of this monumental achievement.
Ryuk's dedicated kendo training goes steadily until he finally turns 10 years old.
After reaching the age of 10, Ryuk was naturally gonna learn some advanced techniques.
And he was also gonna learn real, specialized Swordsmanship to expand his skills.
And Ryuk have already decided within his soul that he will make his lifelong career in Swordsmanship.
But the moment after Ryuk turns 10, everything suddenly changed.
His parents completely forbade Ryuk to do Kendo any more.
They told him that now Ryuk should have to study more and more to secure his future.
Ryuk completely disagree with their choice, and he boldly told his parents about his true dream.
But his strict parents doesn't agree with his emotional proposal at all.
Because they believed Ryuk's studies are now gonna come as a heavy, crushing load on him.
Ryuk cried out loud, begging that he wanted to do Kendo and swordsmanship forever.
He desperately explained that he wants his entire career to be right here in this art.
But his father, enraged by the defiance, suddenly slaps Ryuk hard in his cheeks.
A bright, painful red mark appeared on his skin immediately after the heavy slap.
His father strictly forbade him to talk about this worthless subject any more.
Ryuk became very sad and completely broken by his parents' sudden decision.
That night, Ryuk cried a lot in his dark, isolated room.
Ryuk began to see his entire life flashing before his eyes.
He questioned his entire worth of living in this world.
Does it means he used to be destined to be the exact same as everyone else?
He doesn't have the right to become something truly unique?
Does his parents right about how the world functions?
Or is his hard-earned talent completely worthless to society?
He felt like he has absolutely nothing left to do.
Does his existence is simply to be a completely normal person?
Or was he born to become something unique?
Ryuk doesn't understand what he really is supposed to be anymore.
He realizes he maybe study hard, get a corporate job, and be a normal person that no one will ever remember.
Or he could courageously follow his dream and become something that he is truly made for.
But Ryuk doesn't gave up here in the dark.
He has decided deep inside his heart that he will find a way.
He will train secretly, no matter what it takes.
From that defining day forward.
Ryuk secretly train alone in the shadows.
Hiding his movements completely from his watchful parents.
During that long, lonely time period.
Many nosy neighbors and many judgmental relatives regularly comes to Ryuk's house.
And whenever the casual topic comes at Ryuk's past swordsmanship.
They used to tell his parents that it's just a simple hobby and nothing more.
They claimed Ryuk has absolutely no future in Kendo.
Or in the field of Swordsmanship.
They laughed it off as just a temporary child's wish.
A phase that has already been done and dealt with.
They repeated that there is absolutely no future in it.
They firmly stated that study is the only real option for the future.
Ryuk listen to every single cruel word silently from the hallway.
And he feel the deep, burning pain twisting in him.
And one fateful day, when Ryuk was training alone in a hidden spot.
His father suddenly caught him red-handed with the wooden sword.
He slaps Ryuk again across the face without hesitation.
And harshly told him to left all of this foolishness behind once and for all.
He screamed that it's entirely worthless.
Ryuk became very sad, his spirit weighed down by the continuous rejection.
He left the suffocating house immediately.
And went to a quiet local park to clear his mind.
He was sitting alone in a cold bench, staring at the ground.
Then, a kind old man comes besides him and takes a seat.
That old man gently asked Ryuk what does happens with him to make him look so sad.
Ryuk quietly explain his entire condition and his broken dreams to the stranger.
The old man sighed deeply, and then he explain the harsh reality of the society.
He explained that society sees everything as a mere hobby or free work, except for standard study.
They might first allow you to do that special thing when you are a young child.
But after you grown up.
And after you get heavy studies piled onto your shoulders.
Then the society will see everything else separate from study like a useless, free work.
They never saw a viable future in different, unconventional works.
They only know that traditional study brings financial success.
And when society saw something different that they usually don't see in their daily lives.
They immediately recognise it as a free work.
Never as a real career or as a legitimate future.
They never saw a future in uniqueness.
And for that exact tragic reason, some of the greatest talents of the world failed to use their creativity and their talents.
And society always tries to demotivate you until you completely drop that talentive goal.
But they never saw the true unique talents of their own child.
They never saw everyone differently, choosing to treat them like machines.
At the end of the day, not everyone is the same.
Everyone is inherently best at their own specific skills.
But you must remember, society will never recognise it.
Ryuk listen intently and fully understand that wise old man's deep words.
Then, Ryuk left the park place with a renewed, hardened spirit.
And he started to train secretly with even greater intensity than before.
He doesn't gave up on his ultimate goal, no matter how much it hurt.
And when Ryuk finally turns 14 years old, he accidentally fell into a mysterious portal.
And from that glowing portal, he teleported straight into the world of Tenzu.
The painful past ends.
Ryuk stands up from the dark corner of the room, his eyes sharp.
He remembers clearly that everyone is not the same.
And he knows that Haruto is not the same either.
But it doesn't means that he couldn't change his broken vision.
Ryuk firmly decided within himself that he will change Haruto's vision.
And he will change Haruto's cold vision towards other people.
And then, Ryuk left the room and rushed straight for Eiji's location.
The scene suddenly shifted back at Marin and Eiji's brutal battlefield.
Eiji was standing over her, raising his weapon, going to end up Marin's life.
But then, all of a sudden.
A thick, mysterious mist appears out of nowhere, blanketing the ground.
Marin suddenly disappears from beneath Eiji's impending strike.
Eiji looks around him in utter confusion and shock.
And he saw that Ryuk had already took out Marin away from Eiji's dangerous range.
Ryuk gently laid her down and told Marin to rest now.
Ryuk was currently standing in his legendary Ancestor sword form.
Then, he creates more dense mist around his body.
And he completely transform himself into the flowing mist itself.
Eiji become absolutely shocked by Ryuk's legendary sword form.
"Ancestor sword form...!" Eiji muttered, his voice trembling.
It's a very hard, near-impossible sword form that even many legendary sword masters failed to unlock in their lifetimes.
And the rare person who could able to unlock this skill at least need 10 years of constant mastery to unlock this skill.
And despite those legendary requirements, we all know Ryuk unlock this in just 2 short years.
Eiji tries to attack Ryuk aggressively with his lightning weapon.
But when Eiji attacks with full physical force.
Ryuk simply mixed with the surrounding mist and go away instantly.
He easily dodged Eiji's every single high-speed attack easily.
Eiji, growing desperate, then use multiple heavy thunder attacks at Ryuk's position.
Ryuk doesn't even take out his sword from its sheath to defend.
He just calmly breath out into the cold air.
"Shhhh."
And Eiji's entire body instantly freezes over.
It's the absolute zero temperature manifesting in reality.
Even Eiji's rapid mind get freezes completely, halting his thoughts.
Then, Ryuk casually walking pass by the frozen Eiji and slash him deeply in his upper body.
The force of the sudden cut unlocked, and Eiji fell hard into a stone wall behind him.
Ryuk stops the absolute Zero effect from spreading further.
But still, the lingering absolute Zero effect was so immense that Eiji got completely freeze mentally and physically.
And the single slash effects heavily on his unprotected frame.
And Eiji's internal organs got freeze also from the sub-zero temperature.
For that reason, Eiji has already been practically defeated by a single sequence.
That is the absolute, terrifying power of absolute Zero.
A power so broken that a supreme sin commander gets defeated easily.
Ryuk turn back to normal, deactivating his ancestor sword form.
He could only use this divine form for a strict limit of 2 minutes.
An again, he can only use it after a long cooldown of 5 hours.
Ryuk told Marin to stay back, and he watches as Leo finally wakes up from the ground.
They both stand up with difficulty, wiping the blood from their faces.
Then, they found Haruto still lying helplessly on the ground nearby.
Leo walked over and took Haruto tightly in his shoulder to carry him.
And Marin looked at their savior and thanked Ryuk to save them from certain death.
Ryuk welcomed her thanks with a calm nod and says, "Now I guess we should leave now."
But then suddenly, before they could take a single step.
A violent, catastrophic storm of thunder raised on Eiji's fallen body.
And we saw Eiji's unique sin Tattoo begin to glow with dark light.
The tattoo goes up.
And violently spread on his whole body like veins.
And Eiji then transform entirely into a horrific hybrid of a monster and a human.
He now possessed incredibly long hair flowing in the wind.
2 sharp horns protruding from his forehead.
2 massive, leathery wings ripping out of his back.
And sharp, lethal claws on his hands.
Looking exactly like a true devil risen from hell.
"Let me show you the sin Mark power," Eiji says, his voice distorted and echoing.
The sin mark is the forbidden tattoo that when it fully spreads, the user gets a powerful hybrid of a monster and human form.
An evolutionary state that is extremely terrifying and overwhelmingly powerful.
A colossal thunder storm started to raise wildly on the logpost sky.
The innocent people of logpost see the dark sky from their homes.
And they saw a massive, unprecedented thunderstorm is happening on the sky above them.
It looks like an ancient god become very angry on them.
And they are gonna show the world the true god's wrath.
