“I will not be marked.” Neo said.

He turned his neck to look at Bryce. “Step back.”

The threat in his tone was clear. “Or I’ll make you step back.”

Neo was betrayed and left to die in the most important mission of his life. 

When he opened his eyes again, it was ten years later and the world had moved on without him. He, who was once the strongest hunter on Mars, suddenly became a civilian without any of his abilities.

Neo didn't think he had many secrets. But he suddenly thought of his dormant abilities, his new one, and the mystery behind what happened in the great dungeon.

He did have many secrets. Terrible ones.


"I understand," was all Neo could say to Armin.


The elevator opened up with a ding sound after his words. 


Armin didn't step out immediately. "I hope you do," he said to Neo first.


After they alighted the lift, Armin continued and said, "Do not mistake Bryce for Orion. They are two different people who have two different agendas for you."


Though the father and son looked alike, Neo wasn't dumb enough to mistake them for each other.
