SF Chapter 116: Friends in LA
The next morning, Lexi and Mischa were having breakfast, already dressed and ready to leave.
"Morning, girls," Dani said as he walked into the kitchen. "Ha, I slept with her," he added, pointing at the magazine Mischa was reading. "She was very loud!"
Mischa merely rolled her eyes. Her photo was on the cover of Seventeen magazine.
"I'm just checking whether they really didn't change anything in my interview," she explained.
"Well, the weekend is over. Now it's back to work..." she added, stretching. "See you... maybe on Wednesday, Dani." She kissed him on the cheek.
"I'm leaving in a bit too," Lexi commented to her friend. Each of them had their own car.
Mischa nodded. "See you on set, Lexi," she said before heading out.
Dani walked over to his other friend. "And you, Lexi? When are you coming back?" he asked, resting his face on her shoulder.
"I'm conflicted," Lexi admitted thoughtfully. "I need a break from you, but I'd also like to watch another movie today," she mocked.
"Hey, I can be half-awesome Dani," he replied, making a face.
"Do that, and I'll come over later today," she said, giving him a kiss on the lips.
[Lexi commentary]
Alexandra was sitting on the couch in Dani's bedroom.
"I'll admit, I really like the funny, dumb, energetic side of Dani. But sometimes, that can get a little exhausting."
"So what he calls 'half-awesome Dani' is basically him acting like a normal human being."
"He reins in his horny, menace side and acts normal for a while," she revealed. "But he can't keep that up for very long..."
She looked away before finally admitting, "...which is not that bad. Normal Dani can get a little boring too."

A week passed, and the New York gang arrived in Los Angeles.
This time, instead of Monica staying with Claire, all six were staying at Dani's new beach house, since he had more than enough room.
"Hey, guys, make yourselves at home. Or better yet, feel like you're at Monica's place," Dani greeted the six of them.
"Wow, you need a new nickname. 'Rich boy' is underrated," Chandler said sarcastically, taking in not only the house, but also the two cars in the garage, a Porsche 911 and a Lamborghini.
"I think you've gotten even sexier, Dani," Phoebe winked, adjusting the lapel of his suit.
Monica immediately admonished her. "Pheebs!"
"Hey, cuz, you're looking good," Dani said, patting Ross on the back. He no longer looked like the gloomy, my-lesbian-ex-wife-left-me guy from before.
Joey explained why. "He hooked up with that girl you told Monica to help."
Ross shot him an annoyed look.
"Oh, Priya? Really?" Dani smiled. "You'll get to meet her brother at the premiere, Raj. He's friends with Leonard and me."
[Daniel commentary]
"A few days ago, Raj mentioned that his sister was moving to New York after graduating from Cambridge," Dani explained.
"I told him to give her Monica and Rachel's contact information, in case she needed anything."

"So you're all fine with it?" Ross asked his cousin.
Dani nodded casually. "As far as I'm concerned, it's all good - well, maybe not for Raj..."
"And you totally needed to get some," he added with a smirk.
Ross glared at him, but his expression quickly changed.
"And she's perfect. Priya is gorgeous, she was the top student in her class at Cambridge, and she's licensed to practice law in three different countries," he bragged.
Chandler leaned closer to Dani. "You'll find out gloomy Ross wasn't that bad after all."
"Okay, guys, let's get down to our underwear," Daniel said, changing the subject.
Rachel was now the one leaning closer to him, making a face.
"What, Rach? It's a beach house," he pointed toward the ocean.
"It's a beautiful day out. Don't tell me you, of all people, don't want to go to the beach." He gave her a horrified look.
She was left with no idea how to defend herself.
"Maybe she likes going in fully dressed," Phoebe pointed out. "I had a crazy friend who was like that."
"Well, Rach, it's still a free vacation in Malibu," Monica said, placing a supportive hand on her shoulder. It was impossible for her cousin to stay quiet without provoking anyone.
"With all you can eat and drink," Dani added.
Rachel immediately grinned. "Fine. But since you said to treat it like Monica's house, I'm not going to hold back," she joked.
"I'm okay with that. I knew you were shameless when you decided to live with a friend you didn't even invite to your wedding," Dani shot back.
"Oh, you little-"
-------‐-----------‐-----------‐-----------‐-----------‐---------
Soon, the seven of them were settled on the beach, the women already in bikinis and the guys in swim trunks.
"Wow..." even Rachel couldn't help murmuring when she saw Daniel's physique.
He was the only one who was fully defined, almost unfairly so. Joey looked strong too, but he wasn't nearly as defined because of his higher body fat.
Chandler looked down at himself, then at Daniel. "Well, good. I was worried this big house and the expensive cars wouldn't destroy my self-esteem fast enough."
A little while later, a very hot woman appeared.
"Carol!" Dani said, giving her a mock salute. "I'm not training today. Forgot to tell you. My friends from New York came to visit," he gestured toward the others.
She looked at him like a general. "Fine. But I want the exact number of drinks you had."
"And you'd better be ready. Tomorrow I'm coming at ten in the morning to make you burn off those calories," she warned before walking farther down the beach.
"See, Chandler," Dani said, turning to him. "Anyone can have this incredible physique," he remarked, striking a pose.
"For me, all I need is a very hot strict woman as my personal trainer, motivating me six days a week."
"And a decent diet sometimes. Filet mignon, scallops, shrimp, lobster, and king crab are all high in protein and low in fat," he added, imparting his wisdom.
They all stared flatly at him.
"Guys, send him into the ocean as an offering," Rachel ordered, making Ross, Chandler and Joey run after him.
After a while, another woman appeared.
"Claire," Monica said, giving her an affectionate hug, which Claire returned.
Soon, the blonde asked, seeing the state her brother was in, "Dani, why are you the only one all wet?"
"Sis, they're bullying me because I'm the youngest one here," he complained. "You should restore order. Since you're the oldest by far. Without a doubt. 100%!"
One could almost see a vein popping out on Claire's forehead. Needless to say, Dani was thrown into the ocean again.
[Charlie and Daniel commentary]
Charlie, who had shown up later to join the group, commented with his brother, "That sarcastic friend of yours keeps glaring at me."
"Chandler?" Dani turned to him. "Oh, that's because you slept with his mom. Remember that busty blonde cougar who was supposed to go with Alan, but he backed out?"
"Ohhh," Charlie muttered, without the slightest hint of guilt. "Anyway, he doesn't have anything going on with the tallest blonde in the group, right?"
"Pheebs? No. Not that I know of, at least. Why?"
"Well, he would have hate me a little more," Charlie said, getting up and patting his brother on the shoulder.
"Huh!" Dani exclaimed. He thought about it for a moment, then just shrugged.

[Haley commentary]
Haley had her arms crossed, annoyed. "That's not fair! Mom just went to Dani's house by herself to enjoy the day while we were at school and Dad was working."
