Chapter 106 - 100% Physical Memory Erasure Technique

A faint smile appeared on Kairos' face as he slowly raised his right hand.

Behind him, the golden ripples trembled.

From within them emerged one Noble Phantasm after another, each radiating golden brilliance and an aura heavy enough to shake the heart.

A halberd.

Gram.

Caladbolg.

Every single weapon carried the weight of legend and countless years of history.

As the oldest king among mankind, the King of Heroes, Gilgamesh had collected the prototypes of all treasures within his vault.

Its name was—

Gate of Babylon.

In an instant, the space behind Kairos resembled a surging golden ocean.

The pressure released by more than a hundred prototype Noble Phantasms shook heaven and earth.

Anyone standing before those ancient treasures felt instinctive fear.

Even the blue sea nearby was affected, massive waves roaring upward.

"What are those things…?"

A Marine recruit trembled violently.

His hair stood on end as he instinctively stumbled backward before collapsing onto the ground.

"I think I saw legendary weapons…"

Another soldier stared blankly at the golden ripples behind Kairos.

His pupils had already been dyed gold by the light.

Curiosity and terror twisted together inside his heart.

Bound by the Chains of Heaven, Zephyr's expression grew grave.

His Observation Haki remained fully active.

Through it, he could clearly tell—

the weapons behind Kairos were real.

Not illusions.

At that exact moment—

a long ship horn echoed across the distant sea.

Along with it came the sound of massive vessels tearing through the ocean surface.

Three medium-sized Marine warships rapidly approached the island.

Each vessel carried over a hundred elite soldiers.

The commanding officers included two Vice Admirals and three Rear Admirals.

"Reporting to Fleet Admiral Sengoku! We've arrived at Training Camp Number One. Cannons are loaded and ready to provide support fire at any moment!"

A middle-aged Vice Admiral held up a telescope while speaking into a Den Den Mushi that looked remarkably similar to Sengoku.

Even as he reported, cold sweat formed on his forehead.

From over a thousand meters away, he could already feel the terrifying aura erupting from Kairos.

"Do not fire."

Sengoku's calm voice came through the Den Den Mushi.

"You may injure the recruits. Broadcast the training camp footage to Headquarters first."

"Yes, sir!"

Soon, the lights inside the Marine Headquarters conference room dimmed.

The massive screen behind Sengoku lit up.

All the Vice Admirals instantly focused their attention on the flickering image.

Static gradually faded.

Two seconds later—

the scene from Recruit Training Camp Number One appeared clearly before everyone.

"What in the world is this?!"

Vice Admiral Strawberry, who usually kept his eyes narrowed beneath his long Marine cap, suddenly widened them in shock.

At the same moment—

every Vice Admiral present wore an indescribably strange expression.

Because on the screen—

former Admiral Zephyr, current chief instructor of the Marine recruit camp—

was hanging in the air in an extremely suspicious posture.

Directly opposite him stood Kairos, glowing with golden radiance and looking unbearably arrogant.

Slap.

Garp suddenly smacked his own face and lowered his head as if he could no longer bear watching.

But if one looked carefully—

his lips were twitching upward.

He was very obviously trying not to laugh.

Even the usually composed Sengoku froze.

Zephyr's posture…

was a little too strange.

Sengoku inhaled deeply, but the corner of his mouth still twitched uncontrollably.

At that moment, he genuinely wanted to flip the table.

Being restrained in battle was perfectly normal.

But the way Zephyr was tied up right now—

looked exactly like rope bondage.

Could Kairos possibly have some kind of strange hobby?!

The worst part was—

Zephyr himself did not seem to realize it.

He was still struggling with all his strength.

And the more he struggled, the tighter the chains became.

The entire scene was absurd beyond words.

Just as everyone remained stunned by the broadcast—

Vice Admiral Stainless suddenly shouted in a deep voice,

"Kairos is moving!"

The room instantly snapped back to attention.

Sure enough—

the Noble Phantasms within the golden ripples behind Kairos had begun flying outward.

The weapons did not move quickly.

Rather than flying, they almost seemed to drift lazily through the air.

But as they floated forward, they released their terrifying pressure without restraint.

The air warped wherever they passed.

Even sunlight dimmed beneath their brilliance.

Then—

the scene displayed on the screen made all the Vice Admirals freeze again.

The Marines on the shore could not escape the pursuing Noble Phantasms.

One after another—

they were being knocked unconscious.

"…?"

Kairos' attacks were all aimed at the backs of their heads.

What kind of combat method was this?!

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

The Noble Phantasms continued drifting forward.

Marine soldiers screamed miserably before collapsing unconscious onto the ground one after another.

Even without sound, the expressions on their faces alone made the Vice Admirals feel chills crawling down their backs.

Several of them unconsciously rubbed the backs of their own heads.

That looked unbelievably painful.

Within moments—

Kairos, radiating golden light, had completely defeated every Marine on the coast.

Only one person remained standing.

Or more accurately—

hanging.

Zephyr still dangled in the air, tightly bound by the chains.

A large bump had already formed on the back of his head.

Though it seemed he had instinctively protected himself with Armament Haki at the last moment, preventing the swelling from becoming too exaggerated.

"Kairos… Kairos is heading toward Zephyr!"

Vice Admiral Dalmatian exclaimed in shock, eyes widening.

On the screen—

Kairos reached into one of the golden ripples behind him and slowly pulled out an ancient bronze sword.

He weighed it in his hand for a moment, as though testing whether it felt suitable.

Then he nodded in satisfaction.

Step by step—

Kairos walked toward Zephyr.

He circled around behind him.

Then slowly raised the bronze sword high above his head.

"Bang!"

The bronze sword landed squarely against the back of Zephyr's head.

Zephyr collapsed instantly.

He did not even have time to speak before blacking out.

"That bastard! That bastard!"

Vice Admiral Doberman slammed the table furiously, nearly frothing with rage.

Sakazuki's expression had also become terrifyingly dark.

The temperature around him was already rising, as though a volcano were preparing to erupt.

And then—

on the screen—

Kairos slowly turned his head.

His eyes locked directly onto the camera.

The next second—

BOOM!

Blinding golden light exploded outward, completely swallowing the screen.
