Five years ago
"Catch me if you can father, haha!". A soothing voice calling for his name with laughter.
"You can't run from me dear!" He chase down the girl, a wide smile painting his feature.
"Go Lysine go! ." A woman who sat down with young Ellie.
The elven kingdom before the incident were different from what is in the future. Because not only elves, they also have various races filling the streets, selling stuff. Including human.
"Gotcha! You can't escape from me, hahaha." He said after catching his daughter.
"Kyah... Mother help me... Father's about to eat me." She said, pretending to be in danger.
It's just a normal day. The sky were bright, the fowls singing on the trees. Not a single soul know that this ordinary day would turn into nightmare.
"No... NO!... Alicia!.. Alicia!..." He called her name desperately. Holding her cold body in his arms as he staring at the pool of blood beneath her.
"Haha! All this wouldn't happen if you give up the throne, brother." A mocking voice. The culprit and the one responsible for this.
To think the one behind this is actually his distant relative shocked Lucas even more. Someone he care like his own family just start a massacre of his own kind.
"Why...? Why do you do this... Lisa!?" Despite being broken, he manage to ask for a reason.
"Heh, why? Why not?" He mock, he raise his sword and ready to kill.
But before he can do it, Lysine, Lucas daughter appeared and deflect the blows before it can hurt her father.
"Father! Get a hold of it!." She shouts at Lucas behind her.
She's not good either. After making her way through the chaos, she's badly injured and can't holding longer.
"I've taken Valix and Ellie to safety... So please... Stay strong father!" She said to her father, breath heavy and labored.
"Well, well, well. Isn't this my beloved niece? Can you move aside? The adults were talking."
"Curse you. Don't address me with that filthy tongue of yours. I'll make you pay!" She charges toward him, no longer able to thinking straight.
And that's when she realized, she falls to his trap.
He use a device to trap her mid air for a second before swinging his sword toward her head, ready to decapitate her.

"Hand off my daughter, you ungrateful bastard!" Lucas stepped in with anger.
He block the incoming hit using his magic, moving purely from instinct to protect his daughter. Using magic to enhance his physical strength.
He easily overpowered him by overclocking himself but also ruining his own body. Driven by anger, he beat him senselessly.

He stopped and gather all the air around him, compressed it and trap Lisan's head inside.

With a flick of his finger, he use the air to crushed his head off, creating a fresh pool of blood of someone once important to him.
"... Father?" Lysine reaching out for him, holding his trembling hand despite her own state.
"I'm... fine... lets get to safety now." He said, voice weak as he force himself to carry his wife with him.
The palace halls filled with blood and dead bodies. Yet they're too exhausted to address it and keep pushing forward.
"It... It his majesty! KNIGHTS! PROTECT THE KING!" The knights noticed him and immediately went to guard him.
They managed to secure both Lucas and Lysine.
"How... How about the rest?" He ask with exhaustion.
"Everyone's been taken somewhere safe your majesty. You can rest assured." The knight said to assure him.
Seeing how badly injured and the dead of the queen is, shaken their will. To think only one night needed to turn this kingdom upside down terrified them.
They're lost in their own fear. And unaware of incoming danger.
"WATCH OUT!!" Lysine shout while everyone distracted.

Blood dripping. Air freezed. Everything happened in a blink, she use her own body to block the arrow aiming for the king. She tried to deflect it but missed.
The sight put everyone in terror as more wave of enemies coming at their direction.
"H-hold your... Ground..." The knight tried to give order but failed due to his lack of morale.
No one can hold a fight now with their current state and seeing now her daughter in a blink of death. Lucas finally lost his mind and use a forbidden magic.
"{Extinction}"
Suddenly, the world as if stopped, a ray of golden light appear from the sky and smites every enemies surrounding the kingdom. The scale of it were huge that it turns the night into day.
Using the bodies of the death as a fuel, Lucas no longer care about anything. He's completely consumed with grief and wrath after losing both his wife and daughter.
He collapse shortly, causing the night to return. Nothing remain around them beside a lump of bones of the death. And since that day. The elves keep themselves hidden from outside world.
Present time
The dining hall covered in debris, walls crumbled with the battle outside. Yet, no one got hurt from the explosion due to Nein managed to act before entering get worse.
"Is everyone alright?" He ask, using his smoke to lift the ruin for everyone to move.
Everyone nods to him, watching how he use his ability like a second body.
"An ambush... Your majesty! I'll be helping with the battles, so make your decision quick!" He said loudly.
Before Lucas can say anything, he already gone. The suddenness of this stunned him, the first thing he does is to check whether Ellie and Valix is alive.
"FATHER! Snap out of it!" Ellie voice manage to calm him down.
"Ellie..." He steady himself and finally back to his right mind.
Valix already taking the servant to evacuate, leaving him and Ellie to handle the rest.
Meanwhile, at the kingdom's square. The soldiers were holding against the enemies.
"DIE YOU HUMAN!" The soldier shout before slashing through the enemies.
"JUST HOW MANY ARE THERE!?"
"HOLD THE GROUND!! DON'T LET THEM GETTING DEEPER!"
The square filled with the sounds of battles. Due to the ambush, none of the soldier were prepared for it. Along with the trauma, the opposing forces easily overpowered them.
"HIEK!! NOO!!"
"{Chain of restriction} Bind."
Nein step in, using his ability to bind every enemies. The smoke chaining from one after another until it's creating a wall of their enemies, putting the wave to stop.
"Get ready for battle, I'll hold the line for you." He command after descending to the ground.

"GO!"
With that, the elves immediately returns to get a better gear.
"Why's there a human here? I thought they'd keeping away from us... I'm buddy! Join u-shing!" His head falls to the ground before he can finish his sentence.
"Sorry, but I'm not interested. Stay like this for a while." He leap to the sky and swing toward the next location.
At the plaza center. The civilian were saving themselves as the guard fending against the enemies.
"Kyah!! Help!!"
"Hehe... Stop struggling... I'll be gentle."

Nein land on the assaulter face and using his body like a skateboard before kicking him away.
"Keep moving!" He said to the elf woman before moving.
The elf remain stunned by what just happened before her before the guard spot her and take her to safety.
"WE NEED BACK UP!"
"KEEP YOURSELF TOGETHER!!"

"ARGGHH!!"
An explosion occurred, caused by no other than the leader.
"Hahaha! What a nostalgic voice... I'm back! Your brother is back Lucas!!" It was Lisan, surprisingly alive despite being killed five years ago.

"Eh..." His celebration interrupted by Nein who suddenly appear from the sky and kick his face.
He sent Lisan flying before using his smoke to bind the rest to create another living wall.
"Regroup now and get geared!" He command toward the injured soldier behind him.
And with the soldier leaving, Nein returned to the person he kick earlier.
"Who... Who the hell are you!?" Lisa ask furiously as he gets up.
"It should be me who asking, bitch. Who the fuck are you?" Nein replied with a completely different tone.
That's odd. Usually, nothing could escape from his smoke, but now. This person infront of him somehow unaffected by it and still able to move freely no matter how hard he tried to bind him.
"Me? You're really asking who I am? I'm The brother of the king! Lisan!!" He introduce himself with pride.
"Who?"
Seeing his utterly confused reaction, Lisan simply froze in. Making both of them standing there starring at each other awkwardly.
