Chapter 123 - Chapter 123: Interview

Now Deya and her group of friends were on the basketball court — the film with her brother and Kira had inspired her to take up the sport.

After another three-point shot, Rocky said:

"I know Uncle Ray raised you like a killing machine, but this is too much."

"Don't be jealous. If you'd gone through those workouts, I'd have lost my brother," Apollo said mockingly.

"Welcome to another episode of 'Hour with a Star.' Today, at your request, we have Hatsune Miku with us again."

"I have to say, as a fan of your work, I'm very glad you didn't give up music despite having a child. I think many, like me, are curious how you managed to combine motherhood with such a busy tour schedule. I also know you're actively involved in charity work."

"I have an assistant. When I'm busy or on tour, she looks after my daughter. She's not just an assistant — over the years, she's become a very close friend. Maya, thank you for being in my life," Miku said, smiling tenderly.

"As for my charity work, I don't see anything special about it. I think if you have the ability to help someone, you should do it. Once in my life, there was a person who didn't just help me — he saved my life and my daughter's."

"I think we all know who you're talking about. It saddens me greatly that you don't communicate. When you were together, there was a lot of debate in the media about your age difference, but I always thought you were a very beautiful couple."

"Yes. Only after losing his care and warmth did I fully understand what I had lost. But honestly, I don't think I'll have the courage to meet him again. I am very guilty before him."

"It was thanks to him that I started doing charity work. We often went together to the children's cancer center. That first trip left a lasting mark on my heart."

"I know this question might seem tactless, but is it true that you no longer communicate with your father and your daughter's father? Does the little one also not communicate with them?"

"No. I know what I did was my mistake. But it was my old man's behind-the-scenes scheming that pushed me toward it. If he had been a good father and truly cared about my future, he would have intervened and prevented me from making one of the biggest mistakes of my life."

"But he didn't. After my last conversation with Ray, I realized that no matter what happens in the future, I will no longer be a tool in anyone's hands. Now I walk my own path. Starting this path wasn't easy, but I think I've done well."

"Many are afraid of motherhood, while others don't fully understand the responsibility. Do you have any advice for them?" the host asked.

"Before you think about having a child, I'd recommend ensuring your partner is reliable and thinking about what you can give the child. Watching Ray and his sister, I learned one very important thing: a parent's job isn't just to give birth and raise a child."

"You also need to educate them. And do it in a way that the child can walk through life independently. I don't know the exact statistics, but if such studies have been conducted, I'm sure children who grew up in a loving family are more successful."

"Considering how many mistakes I've made in my short life, I think my old man didn't do a very good job."

"I will try, and I hope I'll do better."

"I'm sure you can raise a child alone, but it's better to avoid that if possible."

"Have you thought about having another child?"

"At the moment, no. But if a man I can love comes into my life, I'll be ready."

"Thank you for coming. I think this won't be our last meeting."
