Chapter 9: Academic Research and Street-Level Shadows

Sage Industries: CEO Office

Gwen Stacy sat on the edge of the plush leather chair, her hands folded neatly over her briefcase. She was the picture of academic excellence, intelligent eyes framed by stylish glasses, her blonde hair pulled back in a professional ponytail. But beneath that exterior, her heart was hammering. She had worked for years to get to this point, but standing in the presence of Naruto Uzumaki felt different than any other interview.

There was an energy around him, a weight to the air that made her skin tingle.

"Ms. Stacy," Naruto said, leaning back in his chair with a relaxed smile. He had just spent the morning dominating a high-ranking SHIELD agent and the night before in a trio with a supermodel and a master thief, yet he looked as fresh as if he'd just woken from a long nap. "Your paper on cross-species genetics was... enlightening. Most people in your field are too afraid of the ethical ramifications to see the potential."

Gwen blinked, her academic pride flaring. "Science shouldn't be governed by fear, Mr. Uzumaki. It should be governed by curiosity and the desire to improve the human condition. My research into regenerative tissues could end limb loss within a generation."

"I agree," Naruto said, standing up. He walked around the desk, stopping just a few inches from her. He could smell her, lilac and old books, with a hint of nervous sweat. Using his Retrocognition, he saw a flash of her past: her father, Captain George Stacy, falling to his death in a battle involving Spider-Man. He saw the grief that drove her, the need to find answers in a world that took so much from her.

"I know why you're here, Gwen," Naruto said, his voice dropping to a softer, more intimate tone. "You don't just want a job. You want resources. You want a lab where no one tells you 'no.' And you want to know how I managed to create a healing pill that the FDA is terrified of."

Gwen looked up at him, her breath hitching. "How do you...?"

"I'm a very good judge of character," Naruto interrupted, offering his hand. "Come with me. I'll show you why Sage Industries is the only place in the world where you can truly be yourself."

The Secret Training Facility [Pocket Dimension]

Gwen's jaw dropped as she stepped through the door in Naruto's closet. One moment she was in a high-rise office in Midtown; the next, she was standing in a vast, white-tiled laboratory that seemed to stretch into infinity. Floating holographic displays flickered with data streams that made her own research look like a middle-school science project.

"What is this?" she whispered, her hand reaching out to touch a floating strand of DNA code. "The architecture... this shouldn't be possible. This space... it's not in the building."

"It's in a pocket dimension," Naruto explained, walking alongside her. "A private reality I created to house my most sensitive projects. Here, we aren't bound by the laws of the outside world, or their oversight."

He led her to a central pedestal where a single, glowing blue pill sat inside a glass containment field. The 4-X6-D pill.

"This is what you're really interested in," Naruto said. "It doesn't just heal, Gwen. It optimizes. It increases the tensile strength of bone and tissue by a factor of several thousand percent. It turns a human into something... more."

Gwen peered at the pill, her scientific mind racing. "The cellular energy required for that kind of transformation would be immense. How do you prevent the subject from burning out? From cellular degradation?"

"Nanotech," Naruto replied. "A lattice that supports the cells during the transition. I've already tested it on two subjects. The results are... perfect."

Gwen turned to him, her eyes wide. "You've already used this on humans? Who?"

"Mary Jane Watson and Felicia Hardy," Naruto said casually. "They're my personal associates. They've gone from normal women to individuals capable of lifting eighty tons and running at nearly Mach 1. With no side effects."

Gwen staggered back, her mind reeling. Everything she had worked for, every boundary she thought existed, was being demolished by this nineteen-year-old billionaire. "Why are you showing me this? You could have this patented and be the most powerful man on Earth."

"I am the most powerful man on Earth, Gwen," Naruto said, stepping closer, his presence looming over her. "But I need a lead scientist I can trust. Someone who isn't a spy for SHIELD or a lackey for the X-Men. I need someone with your vision."

He reached out, his thumb tracing the line of her jaw. Gwen should have pulled away. She should have run. But the power radiating from him was magnetic. She felt a heat building in her stomach that had nothing to do with science.

"I'm offering you the lead on Project: Apotheosis," Naruto whispered. "You'll have access to this lab, my tech, and the pill. You can become the pinnacle of human evolution, Gwen. All you have to do is say yes."

Gwen looked at the pill, then at Naruto. She saw the potential for greatness, for the power to never be a victim of the world's chaos again. She thought of her father. If she had been stronger... if she had been more...

"Yes," she whispered. "I want it."

Naruto smiled. "Then let's begin your orientation."

Lemon Scene Ahead

Naruto didn't just give her the pill. He wanted her to understand the connection between the mind and the body's new potential. He led her to a soft, cushioned area of the lab designed for recovery.

"The pill works best when the body is in a state of high arousal and relaxation," Naruto lied, or perhaps it was a half-truth; he simply wanted her. "It helps the nanotech integrate with the nervous system."

Gwen was too overwhelmed to argue. She watched as Naruto stripped off his shirt, revealing his powerful, scarred physique. He looked like a statue come to life. When he reached for the buttons of her blouse, she didn't stop him. Her hands were shaking as she helped him, her clothes falling away until she stood before him, pale and beautiful in her simple white lingerie.

She opted to wear this outfit not because she anticipated any specific outcomes, but rather because she intended to leverage her attractiveness if necessary to achieve her goals.

"You're brilliant, Gwen," Naruto murmured, his hands sliding over her shoulders. "But you've been living in your head for too long. It's time to live in your body."

He leaned down and kissed her, a deep, commanding kiss that stole the air from her lungs. Gwen gasped into his mouth, her hands finding his chest, feeling the rock-hard muscle. She had never been with a man like this. Peter had always been so hesitant, so afraid of his own strength. Naruto was the opposite, he was a storm of confidence and power.

He moved her to the bed, his hands exploring her body with a clinical yet passionate precision. When he removed her lace panties, Gwen felt a rush of cold air followed by the intense heat of his gaze.

"You're perfect," he said.

He didn't wait. He moved between her legs, his tongue finding her center with a suddenness that made her shriek. "Oh! Naruto!"

He worked her with an expert's touch, his tongue swirling around her clit while his fingers entered her, stretching her gently. Gwen's head thrashed against the pillows, her academic mind finally shutting off, replaced by raw, pulsing need. She felt the build-up, the electric tension that Naruto seemed to amplify just by being near her.

When she reached her first peak, her body arching and shaking, Naruto moved up. He held the 4-X6-D pill to her lips.

"Take it," he commanded.

Gwen swallowed the pill, her throat tight. Almost instantly, she felt it. A surge of white-hot energy erupted from her stomach, spreading through her veins like liquid fire. Her senses sharpened. She could hear the hum of the lab's servers, the beat of Naruto's heart, the sound of her own cells screaming as they were rewritten.

"It... it burns!" she gasped, her skin flushing a deep red.

"Focus on me," Naruto said.

He entered her then, a slow, deep thrust that felt like he was anchoring her soul to her body. Gwen screamed, not in pain, but in sheer sensory overload. The pill was magnifying every nerve ending, making the friction of his cock feel like a thousand suns exploding inside her.

PLAP! PLAP! PLAP!

Naruto began to move, his pace increasing as Gwen's body began to adapt. Her muscles tightened, her grip on his back becoming strong enough to draw blood. She could feel her own strength growing with every second, her legs locking around his waist with a force that would have crushed a normal man.

"Yes! More! I can feel it!" Gwen wailed, her eyes glowing with a faint blue light.

Naruto didn't hold back. He pounded into her with the full force of his superhuman stamina. The room was filled with the sound of their bodies colliding, the high-pitched moans of a woman being reborn. Gwen was no longer the shy scientist; she was a predator, her nails digging into Naruto's shoulders as she met every thrust with a violent buck of her hips.

"I'm... I'm going to...!" Gwen couldn't finish the sentence.

Her second orgasm was a cataclysm. The energy from the pill and the pleasure from Naruto's body converged in a massive release. Her body went rigid, her back arching. Naruto let out a guttural roar, his own climax hitting him as he flooded her with his seed, his telekinesis working overtime to keep the physical feedback from destroying the bed.

Lemon Scene End

Gwen lay there for a long time, her chest heaving, her skin glowing with a faint, healthy sheen. She looked down at her hands, clenching them into fists. She could feel the power, the absolute, terrifying strength flowing through her.

"How do you feel?" Naruto asked, leaning over her, wiping sweat from her brow.

Gwen looked up at him, a predatory, brilliant smile crossing her face. "I feel... like I can finally see the world clearly. Thank you, Naruto."

"Welcome to the team, Dr. Stacy," Naruto said, kissing her deeply. "Your lab is waiting."

Hell's Kitchen: The Nightshade Bar

While Naruto was "orienting" his new lead scientist, Felicia Hardy was stalking the rain-slicked streets of Hell's Kitchen. She was wearing her new Cat-V2 suit, though she had a heavy trench coat over it to blend into the shadows.

She was looking for a very specific woman.

The bar was a dump, the kind of place where the beer was warm and the customers were one bad look away from a brawl. Sitting in the corner booth, surrounded by empty whiskey glasses, was a woman with messy dark hair and a permanent scowl. Jessica Jones.

Felicia slid into the booth opposite her. "You know, for a private investigator, you're pretty easy to find. You just follow the smell of cheap booze and self-pity."

Jessica didn't even look up. "Great. Another person in spandex. What do you want, Lady Gaga? I'm busy having a mid-life crisis."

"I work for Sage Industries," Felicia said, her voice dropping. "My boss noticed you've been poking around our weapons division. He doesn't like people poking around his toys."

Jessica finally looked up, her eyes bloodshot but sharp. "Your boss is a nineteen-year-old kid with too much money and a god complex. He's selling sonic cannons to SHIELD and 'healing pills' to the public that have no clinical trials. I'm not poking; I'm investigating a potential threat to the city."

"The only threat to the city is people who don't know when to mind their own business," Felicia smirked. She reached across the table and grabbed Jessica's wrist.

Jessica's eyes widened. She was a powerhouse, she had super strength and could fly (mostly). She tried to pull her hand back, expecting the skinny woman in the coat to be yanked across the table.

Instead, Felicia didn't budge.

"You're strong, Jess," Felicia whispered, her enhanced grip tightening until the wood of the table began to crack. "But I'm stronger. A lot stronger."

Jessica's scowl deepened. "What the hell are you?"

"I'm the future," Felicia said, letting go. "My boss wants to see you. He thinks you have potential. And he's willing to pay off your mounting bar tabs and your overdue rent if you just come in for a chat."

"I don't work for billionaires," Jessica spat, though her eyes lingered on the crack in the table.

"You don't have to work for him. Work with him," Felicia corrected. "Think about it, Jones. You're barely scraping by, chasing cheating husbands and low-level drug dealers. Naruto Uzumaki is changing the world. Don't you want to be on the side that actually wins for once?"

Felicia stood up, tossing a Sage Industries business card on the table. "Don't take too long to decide. The offer has an expiration date."

As Felicia walked out into the rain, she felt the hum of her suit. She liked this. The power, the mission, the feeling of being part of something massive. She tapped her ear comm. "Boss, I've made contact. Jones is stubborn, but she's curious. I think she'll bite."

"Good work, Felicia," Naruto's voice crackled. "Get back to the penthouse. MJ misses her sparring partner."

Krakoa: The Quiet Council Chamber

The mood on the mutant island was far from celebratory. The council was gathered, Magneto, Professor X, Emma Frost, and Sebastian Shaw. Emma sat at the head of the table, a bruise still faintly visible on her jaw despite her diamond form's healing.

"A human," Magneto hissed, his voice like grinding metal. "A human infiltrated our sanctum, struck a member of this council, and vanished into a rift."

"It wasn't just a human, Erik," Emma said, her voice cold and sharp. "It was the Black Cat. But she was... enhanced. Her strength was on par with a high-level mutant. And her gear... it blocked my telepathy completely."

"SHIELD?" Sebastian Shaw asked, leaning forward. "Or maybe the Avengers?"

"No," Charles Xavier said, his fingers steepled. "The energy signature of the rift was unique. It wasn't magic, and it wasn't standard teleportation tech. It felt... dimensional."

"We found a device," Magneto added, holding up the silver sphere Felicia had planted. "Hidden in the Arbor Magna. It's a sonic pulse generator. If it had been triggered, it would have sent a localized frequency through the island's neural network. It wouldn't have killed us, but it would have incapacitated every mutant on Krakoa."

"An act of war," Shaw growled.

"Or a warning," Emma countered. "Whoever sent her knew about our security. They knew where to plant the device. They were showing us that we aren't as untouchable as we think."

"We need to find out who owns that tech," Magneto said, his eyes glowing with magnetic power. "And when we do, we make an example of them. No one threatens Krakoa and lives to tell the tale."

Emma Frost looked away, her mind drifting to the blonde man she had seen at the Gala. Naruto Uzumaki. He had winked at her. He had known she couldn't read his mind.

"I have a lead," Emma said quietly. "I'll handle the investigation personally."

Naruto's Penthouse: The Master Suite

The day had been long, but Naruto was far from tired. He stood on the balcony, looking out at the city. Gwen was in the lab, already deep into her research. Felicia was on her way back. And MJ...

MJ walked out onto the balcony, wearing a silk robe, two glasses of champagne in her hands.

"You've been busy, Tiger," she said, handing him a glass. "A new scientist, a new mission, and a new enemy on Krakoa."

"The world is a chessboard, MJ," Naruto said, taking a sip. "I'm just making sure I'm the one holding the pieces."

MJ leaned against the railing, her red hair blowing in the wind. "Gwen Stacy is a good girl, Naruto. Don't break her."

"I won't break her," Naruto promised, pulling MJ close. "I'm just showing her the truth. The world is getting more dangerous. The King in Black is coming, the mutants are getting arrogant, and the humans are getting desperate. She needs to be ready."

"And the rest of us?" MJ asked, looking into his eyes.

"We'll be ready together," Naruto said.

Just then, the elevator chimed. Felicia walked in, dripping wet from the rain, but with a triumphant look on her face.

"I'm back," she announced, shucking her coat. "And I think I'm going to need a very long, very hot shower. And maybe a drink."

"Join the club," MJ laughed.

Naruto looked at his two women, the Fox and the Cat. And soon, the Spider and the PI. His harem was growing, but so was his power. In his old life, he had fought to bring peace. In this life, he would fight to own it.

"Felicia, MJ," Naruto said, his voice commanding their attention. "Tomorrow, we start the next phase. We're going to take the fight to the shadows. We're going to find the Symbiote hives before they wake up."

"And if they're already awake?" Felicia asked, her claws sliding out.

"Then we put them back to sleep," Naruto smirked. "Permanently."

The night air was cold, but the three of them were warm. They stood together on the edge of the world, a billionaire god and his enhanced queens, ready to face whatever the Marvel Universe could throw at them.
