The voice sounded ice-cold, echoing within the wall, and cut through the intense, panicked atmosphere.
Zion turned his head around to see it was Doctor Helena who had called him, stepping into the corridor.
Her white lab coat fluttered behind her with the mild breeze wafting past them. However, her facial expression was completely unreadable.
Her sharp eyes locked onto him, looking a little tense.
"Doctor Helena, please get out of my way." Zion snarled, his alpha presence flaring aggressively. "Right now, I have an emergency. Someone is bleeding heavily; I have to go to him."
"I get that you are busy, Zion, but…you also have another emergency you need to take care of first."
Helena replied in a curt tone, not flinching for a single second under his intimidating snarl.
Instead of moving aside, she stepped directly into his path. Her tone left zero room for negotiation as she added, "You, however, are coming with me to my chamber right now."
