The thick woody branches kept scraping against Earl's skin as he kept walking back to the academy through the dirt trail path…however, his mood already seemed to worsen the more time passed by.
The way back to the academy outdoor yard, no matter how much they kept going, while ignoring Ren's nagging that his feet were hurting, it did not seem to end at all.
Only after walking far enough through the woods could they see a glimpse of those pointed concrete rooftops of the academy dorms.
The sight finally let Earl exhale a deep sigh of relief after realizing they were finally marching towards the right path without getting lost in the maze-like forest.
"Finally…we are on the right track now!" The happiness was gleaming in his ocean eyes when Earl pointed his fingers towards the pointed roof, to notify Ren fast since he was almost on the verge of giving up.
