The next morning.
Ryan was sitting inside the car(TTR-55) and heading towards the Westbridge International University.
He takes out his phone from his pocket.
'Let's make a group of friends this good way to talk.' he thought
He created a chat group on his phone.
'Let's add two people in the group for now.' he thought.
After creating and adding them in the group he sends a message.
------------------
Ryan -: hi, guys let's meet at the center fountain of University.
Jack -: Ryan, who is the third member?
Ryan -: he was a student of the same university and a new friend.
Lucas -: Nice to meet you, my name is Lucas Reed.
Jack -: Okay, let's introduce ourselves face to face.
-------------------------
He closed the chatting app and put his phone back in his pocket.
His car stopped in front of University gate. Westbridge International University was as lively as ever.
Ryan stepped out of his car(TTR-55) and adjusted his backpack and walked inside the University.
He was the first who came to the centre fountain and waited for them to come a few minutes later...
"Brother!"
Jack's energetic voice echoed across the plaza as he ran over.
Ryan smiled.
"You're unusually early today."
Jack grinned.
"I heard today is club recruitment day. There are going to be lots of beautiful girls."
Ryan shook his head helplessly.
"At least you're honest with yourself."
Just then, Lucas arrived carrying a simple shoulder bag.
Jack looked at him curiously.
"You are Lucas right?" He asked.
Ryan stepped between them to introduce each other.
"Jack, this is Lucas Reed."
"Lucas, this is Jack Smith."
The two looked at each other then smiled.
Jack immediately extended his hand.
"Nice to meet you! Since Ryan is your friend, you're my friend too."
Ryan watched the scene with satisfaction.
The original novel never had these three become friends. Lucas and Jack have some small interaction between them due to the main female lead character.
'Huh, I didn't see the main female lead character till now.' he thought.
The story of the novel has already started changing.
The three of them began walking around the enormous campus together.
Jack continuously joked while Lucas occasionally replied with a smile.
Ryan mostly listened.
For the first time since entering this world, he felt like an ordinary college student.
Soon after they went where club recruitment officially began.
Hundreds of booths opened throughout the campus like Music club, Debate Club, Photography Club, Business Club, Martial Arts Club and Basketball Club, etc.
Students spread across the plaza searching for clubs that suited them.
Jack stopped in front of a stage where several students performed with guitars and drums.
Many are listening to the song sung by the president of the music club.
"His name was Tom Stellar."
"He was in the top 5 in the national singing competition of this year."
"Wow, his voice is so melodious."
"He looks so handsome."
Then one boy came towards the crowd while listening to music.
"Would you like to join our club?"
"Yes."
"Yes, me too."
'Yeah, you will join because our club president was a star.' he thought while writing the name of students who wanted to join the club.
His eyes sparkled.
"I am going to join a music club. What about both of you?."
Ryan raised an eyebrow.
"You can play music?"
Jack proudly puffed out his chest.
"I play guitar and I sing."
Ryan looked surprised.
"So you actually have talent."
Jack laughed proudly and said in a funny tone.
"Because of my music I am popular in my high school."
Laughing, Ryan patted his shoulder.
"Go register."
Without another word, Jack rushed toward the Music Club.
Meanwhile, Lucas stopped before another booth.
A large banner read:
Martial Arts Club
Several senior students were demonstrating punches and kicks to other freshers.
Lucas watched them quietly for a moment then he smiled and said.
"I'll join this one."
Ryan wasn't surprised.
Growing up in rough neighborhoods had given Lucas years of practical fighting experience.
The Martial Arts Club suited him perfectly and he can play in the national boxing championship.
After Lucas completed his registration, Ryan continued walking alone and look other clubs.
Finally, he stopped before another booth.
Basketball Club
Ryan smiled slightly.
Basketball had always been one of his favorite sports in his previous life.
He stepped forward.
'In past life basketball was my favourite sport. I was unbeatable in basketball in my home town.' he thought.
"I'm here to register."
The senior student nodded politely.
"Please wait."
"Our club president will approve new members."
Ryan looked toward the practice court.
'If I do more practice in basketball and use my past life knowledge then I can become a National player. This will be interesting.' he thought with a big smile but he comes to sense thinking about his father and family business.
'I need to study business but still when someone has advantages that he should use it will be wasteful this rebirth if I didn't enjoy it.' he thought.
He was lost in his thoughts but then he heard footsteps come towards him. He turned to saw and there was a tall, familiar figure slowly walking toward him.
Ethan Vale.
His expression was calm and cold.
The moment their eyes met...
Ethan recognized Ryan immediately.
The same freshman who had bumped him in the auditorium
His eyes became noticeably colder.
Ryan smiled politely and awkwardly said.
"What a coincidence."
'What the fuck…my luck this much terrible that I have to meet this monster two times.' he thought and crying inside his mind.
Ethan stared at him for several seconds.
Then he spoke in a flat voice.
"So...You're joining my club."
The surrounding club members suddenly sensed the unusual atmosphere.
Members of clubs surrounded them and whispered to each other's ears.
"Hi, what's the matter?"
"He was the one who bumped Ethan in the auditorium."
"Yeah, he was saved that day because of Claire Anderson present there."
Neither of them smiled.
Neither of them looked away.
For the first time...
Ryan and Ethan stood face to face as members of the same club.
And everyone could tell—
This would not be an ordinary senior-junior relationship.
