Humans stand
So that food will not be harmed
So that it will not be infected
The wild is driven away
The wild is not allowed near
Humans use wisdom
to keep the wild at a distance
The wild grows accustomed
to that wisdom
and comes again
Again and again
The wild is the Earth
The Earth looks at livestock
and what does it think
Looking at livestock
Does the Earth see them as wild
Or does it see humans as wild
