"Damn, you guys are putting in work.." I muttered leisurely, flapping my wings gently, as I flew beside Malachi and Sorin that were currently rushing up some of the stairs embedded in the mountain face…
"You, know, you could at least show that you're using some effort.." the monkey grunted, bounding from one step to another, as I kept pace easily..
"I am, I mean look." I pointed backwards, at my flapping wings, "I'm actually consciously flying, instead of letting the wind carry me, so, don't talk like I'm being inconsiderate.."
"Humph.." the female monkey snorted.
I ignored her once more, her face twisting at the blatant disregard.
"Then, why not help us up, I mean, I'm sure you have some freaky ability that can make this all somehow a breeze no?" Malachi asked, landing with a heavy thud on a floating platform, catching his breath.
