— A Few Days Later, God U. General POV —
'God Damn! What are they feeding these kids?!' A-Train thought to himself as he watched the students go through their regular training session.
The speedster in the class- who was ranked 5th- was nearly as fast as Reggie was when he beat Mr. Marathon. He wasn't sure whether or not he could out run him if they raced right now.
Giant Supe had extraordinary regenerative powers and strength greater than most Supes.
Phasing Supe that could his powers to somehow appear like Teleport by going underground and appearing behind the enemy.
A true gender fluid person who can change his or her sex at will, somehow keeping up with the above two.
Bloodbender who barely scratched the surface of what she can do.
A pyrokinetic Supe who was like Lamplighter on steroids.
Then there were legacy heroes, Polaris and Maverick who were on their way to outperform their fathers.
And last but definetly not least…
The reason he was here- strongest Supe in Godolkin- 'Adam' Aslan.
A-Train initially thought the kid was all hype. How could there be another monster on par with his boss after all?
But the kid- or more specifically the man lived up to the hype. He was strong beyond reason, could fly faster than A-Train could run, could put a hole through others with mere glance and all the time Reggie had seen him no one could make him bleed. Not even when he spar against all of the Supes mentioned above- at the same time.
Looking at him A-Train saw the image of the blond crybaby with flag for a cape.
'No wonder they call him the Next Homelander.' Reggie mused. And then a dangerous thought passed through his head for a second before he squashed those thoughts. But deep within his sub-consciousness he would continue to wonder whether or not Khan could be the one to take down Homelander.
"What do you think?" Brink's question brought him out of his thoughts.
"They are alright. Some of them have potential." Reggie's answer got a chuckle from Brink.
"Ken Keh Keh Keh. Potential? These kids are the best God U. graduating class. Give them a couple of years some of them might join you in the Seven," Brink's said "Some faster than others,"
A-Train remained silent for a while. His eyes drifted to Adem, before shifting to the resident speedster.
Homelander expected a report from him. Reggie couldn't be entirely honest or else Big Blue would replace him in a heart beat.
He needed to tread the tightrope between praising the next gen and imply he is still the fastest man alive.
"They are good. Very good." Reggie said as he took out a vPad and clicked on the image of Luke, "Khan is already set to join us in the tower. Golden Boy definitely is Seven material. 'The Incredible Steel' and 'Phantom' has the necessary skills but they should work a bit more in their presentation. Their social media following and brand recognition are lackluster."
"What about Sonic?" Brink asked with a knowing look that pissed A-Train off. "Do you think he might join the Seven one day?"
"Who knows, maybe in a very very distant future." They both knew that join meant replace A-Train.
But rather than giving Brink the outburst he wanted Reggie answered with a calm tone.
"Hm… I can see something happened to you son,"
"A lot has happened since God U. Since I was just a snot nosed brat sleeping in your class." This got a chuckle from the older man.
"Good luck with all that."

— Vought Tower, General POV —
Homelander was sitting on a coach, next to his son, helping him memorize the script of an upcoming ad Ryan was going to star in.
They continued for half an hour, and Ryan had memorized the script, but there was a problem. "Why are you nervous son?"
"It's just. Dad. A lot of people are going to see this and I- I don't know."
Homelander shook his head in disappointment before putting a hand on Ryan's shoulder.
"Come on kiddo, there is no need to be nervous. These people are beneath us. You have nothing to be nervous about. They are only humans. They are only toys for our amusement." Homelander told his son who was speechless for a moment.
His mom had always told him to be kind and just to others, and his father was telling him they were only there for his amusement.
Seeing there was no reply from his son Homelander pushed. "Okay kiddo repeat after me."
"They are" "They are" The father son duo said one after the other.
"Toys" "Toys"
"For" "For"
"Our" "Our"
"Amusement" "Amusement"
"They are toys for our amusement." "They are toys for our amusement" Ryan said which brought a smile upon Homelander's face.
"That's right," he said as he patted his son in the head. "Always remember Ryan, we don't have anything to fear from them."
Ryan nodded his head. He mused about it for a second, it made little bit of sense to him.
They were stronger, faster, more powerful. What was the difference between them and gods from mythology? But a little voice at the back of his head said this wasn't the case, his father was wrong. That everyone mattered.
That was his mom's voice. But thinking about her was hard for the young boy. After all, he was the one who accidentally killed Becca.
Ryan shook his head to clear it, but then his eyes landed on a picture on Homelander's desk.
The picture was inside a folder, but Ryan had accidentally used his X-Ray Vision and glanced at it.
It was the picture of a Supe in a green costume with red cape, hovering.
"Who is that?" Ryan asked, Homelander looked at where Ryan was pointing and immediately connected the dots.
"That's Khan, I know, stupid name. But he is strong, smart, and handsome. Like us. He is my- He is your-" Homelander stopped for a second deciding to tell Ryan about this later. "He'll be joining the Seven. You'll probably get to meet him very soon."
