The call didn't connect, phone switched off. Leera frowned, "Maybe she forgot to turn it on after the flight," Then she called Erhaan instead. The call connected almost immediately. "H-Hello..."
Leera's eyes widened. "Erhaan? Why are you breathing like that?"
His voice sounded rushed, panicked.
"And where are you guys?" she continued. "We can't even see your car anymore." For a moment, there was only the sound of his heavy breathing. Then, "I'm not in the car."
Everyone went silent."What?" Leera's grip on the phone tightened.
Erhaan looked ahead at the disappearing vehicle and spoke through clenched teeth, "I'll explain later."
His voice trembled with urgency, "Right now, Nayza is in danger." The atmosphere inside the SUV changed instantly. "What are you talking about?" Leera asked.
"That driver." Erhaan didn't take his eyes off the road. "Tell Savash to track the car. Call the driver. Do anything. Just do it fast."
By now, everyone in the SUV was listening. Leera's face had gone pale. The moment the call ended, she relayed everything.
"Nayza's in danger."
"What?!"
Doruk was the first to react.
His voice rose immediately. "Stop the car. I'm going after her."
"Sit down." Savash's voice was calm, too calm. The kind of calm that only appeared when he was truly serious, "We're all going." He pulled out his phone and quickly tracked the vehicle's location.
A red dot moved across the screen.
"There."
He pointed at it, "Driver, follow this car. As fast as possible." Then he immediately sent the location to Erhaan.
At the same time, Erhaan had already jumped into a taxi, "Follow this location." His eyes never left the screen. His jaw was clenched so tightly it hurt, every second that passed felt too long.
Ahead of him, somewhere on the road, Nayza was unconscious. And the distance between them kept growing.
Savash sat silently in the car, staring at the location moving across his phone screen, he felt angry at himself, "How could I be this careless? I personally arranged these cars. And because of my mistake, Nayza is in danger." His grip tightened around the phone, "That driver... I'm not letting him get away with this."
Sitting beside him, Yesir could tell exactly what was going through his mind. He placed a hand on Savash's shoulder.
"Hey."
Savash looked at him.
"Don't blame yourself right now. We'll find her."
His voice was calm despite the worry in his eyes.
"Nayza will be back with us safely. Just focus on that."
Savash nodded silently.
Meanwhile, Doruk hadn't said a word since learning what happened.
He sat there with his fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles had turned white.
In his heart, he kept repeating the same prayer.
Please let her be safe.
Please let her be okay.
And beneath that fear was another emotion.
Pure rage.
If anything happened to Nayza, he felt like he would kill that driver himself.
The chase continued.
Ten minutes.
Twenty minutes.
Thirty.
Almost half an hour passed.
Inside the car, Nayza slowly opened her eyes.
The air conditioner was off now.
Everything felt heavy.
For a moment she couldn't understand where she was.
Then her eyes landed on the driver.
His mask was gone.
The memories rushed back instantly.
Nayza's expression changed.
Without thinking twice, she lunged forward.
"You bastard!"
Her fists slammed into the back of his head.
Once.
Twice.
Again and again.
The driver lost control of the steering wheel for a moment.
The car swerved.
But Nayza didn't stop.
"STOP THE CAR!"
Punch.
"I WON'T LET YOU GO!"
Punch.
"STOP IT!"
She kept hitting him with everything she had.
Soon blood began running down the side of his head.
Still, he kept driving.
A few minutes later, he finally reached his destination.
An abandoned-looking white building stood ahead.
The structure looked unfinished, as if construction had been stopped halfway through.
The driver stopped the car and immediately stepped outside.
Before leaving, he locked all the doors.
Nayza grabbed the handle.
It wouldn't open.
"Open the door!"
She hit the window.
"OPEN IT!"
The driver stared at her through the glass.
Then muttered to himself,
"If I let her out, she'll destroy me."
Without another glance, he walked into the abandoned building.
Nayza watched him disappear.
Then she looked around.
There was only one option left.
She began punching the window.
Once.
Twice.
Three times.Four.
Five.
The glass cracked but didn't break.
Blood began appearing on her knuckles.
Still she didn't stop.
Then, gathering all her strength, she threw one final punch.
CRASH!
The glass shattered.
Sharp pieces cut into her hands and arms as she forced herself through the broken window.
Fresh blood dripped onto the ground.
But she didn't care.
She climbed out.
A few minutes later, the driver emerged from the building.
The first thing he noticed was the shattered window.
Then the blood.
His eyes widened.
Following the trail, he moved toward a section filled with stacked cement pipes and construction material.
He looked around.Nothing.
No sign of her.
Slowly, he turned around.
BAM!
A powerful punch slammed directly into his face.
The driver stumbled backward.
Blood exploded from his already injured nose.
Before he could react, another hit landed.
His vision blurred.
His legs gave out.
And he collapsed unconscious onto the ground.
Nayza stood there breathing heavily.
Blood covered her hands.
Her chest rose and fell rapidly.
Then, in the distance-
Police sirens.
Several vehicles rushed toward the site.
Three cars arrived almost at the same time.
The very first vehicle to stop was Erhaan's taxi. The moment it halted, he jumped out and ran toward the driver's car.
Behind him came Savash, Doruk, Leera, Yesir, and several police officers.
When they reached the vehicle, there was nobody inside.
Only blood.
A lot of blood.
Everyone froze.
Doruk's heart dropped.
Immediately, he followed the blood trail.
The others ran after him.
A few moments later, they reached the construction area.
And stopped.
The driver lay unconscious on the ground in terrible condition.
A few feet away sat Nayza.
Calmly wrapping a piece of cloth around her injured hand.
The cloth was torn from her own clothes.
The second Doruk saw her, relief flooded his entire body.
"Nayza!"
He rushed forward and dropped to his knees before pulling her into a tight hug.For several seconds, he didn't let go.
The others quickly gathered around them.
Leera's eyes immediately filled with tears.
"Nayza!"
She crouched beside her.
"What happened to you?!"
Her gaze fell on Nayza's injured hands.
"How did you get hurt this badly?!"
Doruk pulled back slightly and grabbed her hand carefully.
"And what happened here?"
He looked toward the unconscious driver.
"How did he end up like this?"
Yeah, I had a little scuffle with the driver, but don't worry. I'm fine," she said smiling.
Yesir quietly removed his coat and draped it over her shoulders.
Meanwhile, Savash walked toward the police officers.
"Arrest him."
His voice was cold.
"He kidnapped her."
The officers immediately moved toward the unconscious man.
Only then did Savash walk over to Nayza. He crouched in front of her.
For the first time since arriving, guilt showed clearly on his face.
"I'm sorry."
Nayza looked at him.
"This happened because of me. I should've been more careful."
After listening to Nayza slowly stood up.
A small smile appeared on her face.
"I'm fine."
Everyone looked at her.
"Seriously, I'm okay."
She glanced around at all of them.
"There's no need for everyone to look this worried."
Then she looked at Savash.
"And stop apologizing."
He frowned.
"But-"
"You didn't do anything wrong."
Nayza shook her head.
"You didn't know what kind of person he was."Her smile widened slightly.
"So let's all calm down."
She looked at the group.
"We came here to enjoy our trip, remember?"
Then she sighed tiredly.
"Now please... can we leave? I'm exhausted."
Throughout all of this, Erhaan remained standing slightly behind everyone else.
Silent.
Watching.
Not saying a single word. He mutters to himself, "Obviously, Nayza is the one who did this to the driver." Smirking, he adds, "I still remember her punch. It was really powerful."
Eventually, everyone helped Nayza back to the cars.
Without speaking to anyone, Erhaan turned around and left for Savash's resort.
The others first took Nayza to the hospital for treatment.
After everything was finished there, the police informed them:
"Miss Nayza and Mr. Savash, you'll need to come to the station with us to complete some formalities."
The rest of the group said goodbye for now.
Leera, Yesir, and Doruk headed toward Savash's resort.
While Nayza and Savash left with the police officers for the station.
