"Stop mocking me, you bastard!"
Hiroshi Uchiha shouted in a voice filled with anger and pain while clutching his completely empty eye sockets as blood continued flowing from them without stopping. Then he continued while breathing heavily in agony,
"I don't need your damned pity!"
In truth, from Hiroshi's perspective, since he had failed to defeat his enemy with his own power and failed to reclaim his father's eyes through his own strength and effort, then he did not want to receive them through the enemy's mercy. He would rather die honorably in battle than accept such humiliation.
"Stop yelling, you annoying brat!"
Leon said coldly before making a quick motion with his hand. Thin strands of chakra spread outward and wrapped tightly around Hiroshi's body, pinning him firmly to the ground so he could not resist.
"What are you doing, bastard?!"
Hiroshi shouted angrily and fearfully while struggling with all his strength to break free from the restraints, but no matter how hard he fought, it was useless. The force restraining him was overwhelming.
Then the two eyes floated from Leon's palm toward Hiroshi's empty, bleeding sockets and settled perfectly into place. A beautiful green glow spread from them as powerful healing chakra surrounded the eyes and preserved them.
"I told you before..."
Leon said calmly, "that once you convinced me you were worthy of these eyes, I would return them to you!"
"You bastard! Are you looking down on me?!" Hiroshi roared in fury, feeling utterly humiliated.
Before he could continue, Leon cut him off with a cold and serious voice.
"It seems the two of you have become a little too full of yourselves, boys!"
"No... not just you. You too, Senju brat!"
He shifted his gaze toward Ishin Senju, who stood nearby listening, then continued in an even colder and more serious tone.
"Don't overestimate yourselves, you two. Up until now, I've only been playing with you."
Heavy silence filled the battlefield. Even Hiroshi stopped speaking entirely, his expression turning serious.
Then Leon continued.
"Did you honestly think you ever had a real chance of winning?"
"You should understand this clearly. I've only used a tiny fraction of my true power."
He paused and looked directly at both of them before continuing.
"Otherwise, I could have vaporized the two of you with a single strike. So don't raise your expectations too high about defeating me. Your chances of doing that are absolutely nonexistent!"
Leon slowly turned around as if preparing to leave, and just before disappearing completely, he spoke in a firm tone.
"All you need to do is raise your strength as high as possible. And when I see that you've reached the absolute limit of your potential, I'll kill both of you in a direct and honorable battle."
Then he added clearly,
"And that will be the debt you must pay in exchange for sparing your clans from total annihilation!"
He paused briefly, letting the words sink deeply into their minds, then disappeared from the battlefield entirely, leaving his final sentence echoing through the air like a lingering curse.
"And that is your destined fate!"
Even after he left, the heavy silence remained. Ishin Senju stood there without saying a word, while Hiroshi Uchiha lay on the ground staring blankly at the blue sky with his newly restored eyes.
After several long moments of silence, Hiroshi finally spoke in a low and exhausted voice.
"Do you think we'll ever be able to take revenge?"
Ishin remained silent for a moment, thinking carefully before answering in a calm and realistic tone.
"I was never seeking revenge to begin with."
Hiroshi looked at him with slight irritation before slowly rising to his trembling feet and letting out a long breath.
"Haaaaah..."
Then Ishin continued while staring up at the sky as well.
"And even if we wanted revenge... we still don't stand a chance. Up until now, we haven't even managed to make him take us seriously in a single fight."
Heavy silence filled the area once again before Hiroshi Uchiha finally spoke in a calmer, more accepting voice as he slowly turned to leave.
"Then there's no need for complicated thoughts anymore. What we need to do is already perfectly clear."
Then he disappeared from the battlefield, leaving Ishin alone in the ruined wasteland, staring silently at the sky while sinking into the strange sense of shock that had brought him a brief moment of peace.
