Phoebe Buck smiled and took out her phone to take some candid photos of Ivy Holden.
After Ivy Holden and Jensen Morrison ran through their song twice, the Honey Girls arrived, followed shortly by Seth Morton.
Annie from the Honey Girls waved happily the moment she saw Ivy Holden. Once Ivy finished her song, she set down the microphone, stepped off the stage, and gave her a hug.
"Good luck!" Ivy said.
"Eden, I had no idea you could sing so well in Cantonese!" Annie said in surprise.
"That's right, I forgot you're Cantonese," Ivy Holden said with a laugh.
"I couldn't even tell you weren't a native speaker. It was incredible."
"Thanks. Is your arrangement finished?" Ivy asked.
"Uh-huh, we practiced it a dozen times yesterday, but something still feels off. That's why we're back today."
