"An'an," Mo Yan lowered his eyes. "I'm no help at all."
As a Beast Husband, he was supposed to shelter his Female Master and their cubs from the storm, but now, Yu An was the one protecting them while he could do nothing.
"Is that what this is about?" Yu An smiled. "Mo Yan, why would you think that?"
She joked, "The more capable you are, the more work you do. Since I'm the only one with this ability, it's only natural I do a bit more."
Mo Yan wrapped his arms around her waist, his voice muffled. "An'an, I'm worried about you."
Yu An hadn't clearly explained how she planned to stop Lord Mo from destroying the world, but Mo Yan knew it definitely wouldn't be easy.
Yu An hesitated for a moment but decided not to reveal her "secret" about the Beast God. 'Oh well,' she thought, 'Mo Yan will find out eventually.'
Just as she was about to say something to distract Mo Yan, she suddenly smelled something burning.
"My food!"
