Thousands of Wizard Apprentices stared intently at the light screen in the sky, unwilling to look away for even a second.
As the participants began to explore the maze, its layout gradually revealed itself to everyone.
When they saw the endless stream of monsters and traps in the maze, many a Wizard Apprentice couldn't help but gasp.
"They even have Transforming Spiders and Spiritual Beasts? Isn't that a death sentence?"
"This maze is too dangerous. Good thing I didn't join the trial, or I'd definitely be dead!"
"Look, someone else just teleported away."
"That's the twenty-third one, isn't it?"
The crowd was buzzing with discussion.
Less than an hour had passed since the trial began, and already more than twenty Wizard Apprentices had been forced to activate their Teleportation Rings and leave the maze.
